Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 23, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 24, 2014:

Officers and Castle Rock Ambulance personnel responded to an address on Bramwell Street, in reference to an unattended death.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Elm Street, in reference to a report of a snake in a window well.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on: West Teton Boulevard, East Teton Boulevard, Arizona Street and Doe Drive.

Officers responded to an address on Logan Street, in regards to a report of nuisance property.

Officers completed a vehicle crash report, regarding a traffic accident that reportedly happen yesterday at an address on South 2nd East. It was reported a vehicle backed into another a parked and occupied vehicle.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Crossbow Drive, in reference to a report of a large dog attacking deer in the area.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, regarding found property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the Municipal Horse Corrals, in reference to a welfare check on a horse. Animal Control Officers checked the described area and reported everything was okay.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, regarding a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Riverview Drive, in regards to a report of a Yellow Lab with no collar running loose in the area.

Officers responded to an address on Ironwood Street, in reference to an agency assist. Officers assisted Wyoming Department of Family Services at the address regarding a welfare check.

Jeffrey Stout, age 26, was arrested per an active District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Court Hearing.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Colorado Drive, in regards to a found dog. Shortly after Animal Control Officers arrival, the dog’s owner located and picked up the dog.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a fraud.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist that had questions regarding a trespass warning.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Upland Way and Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a two vehicle crash. It was reported one vehicle failed to yield right away and was struck by another vehicle. Officers completed a report on the incident.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Mississippi Street, regarding a barking dog complaint.

Officers responded to an address on Birch Street, in reference to nuisance property. The owner of the property was given a warning.

Officers and Green River Fire Department personnel responded to an address on Trona Drive, in reference to a report of a fire in a trashcan.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a welfare check. Upon arrival, Officers reported a verbal dispute occurred.

Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers contacted a resident by phone that had questions regarding a neighbor feeding feral cats.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of littering. Officers contacted the individuals described who were littering. Officers reported there was no litter in the area and the call was unfounded.

Officers responded to an address on East 3rd South, in reference to a welfare check concerning living conditions in the home.

Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Street, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Officers spoke with an individual who was given a warning for disturbing the peace.

Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding found property.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Officers checked the area and spoke with the reporting party.

Officers responded to the area of Upland Way, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. Officers located two juveniles who were out past curfew. A parent was contacted and picked up the juveniles.
