Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 30, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 31, 2014:
Officers were dispatched to an address on North 5th West, in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with an employee and the call was determined to be accidental.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Astle Avenue, in regards to a report of an injured cat. The cat was described as white and dark brown in color.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as a black dog with a blue collar.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at an address on Ironwood Street.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby and met with an individual, in reference to a report of fraud. The reporting party stated unauthorized charges were made to their credit card out of state while the credit card was in the reporting party’s possession.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Sioux Circle, regarding a parking complaint. Officers tagged the vehicle for the parking violation.
Officers spoke with an individual by telephone that had civil questions regarding property.
Officers responded to the area of Bridger Drive, in reference to a traffic complaint. Officers located the vehicles and the drivers were issued citations.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as a Border Collie.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a two vehicle crash. It was reported a vehicle backed into a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel on I-80, in reference to a medical call.
Officers responded to an address on North 4th West, regarding a nuisance property.
Officers were dispatched to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Office on separate occasions, regarding agency assists. On one of the occasions, Patrick Doak, age 26, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Probation Violation.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West 5th North, in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers reported everything was okay and the call was accidental.
Officers responded to an address on Jefferson Street, in regards to a civil standby involving a custody issue.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on North Wagonwheel Drive, in reference to an animal complaint. Animal Control Officers completed a report regarding the incident.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a welfare check. Officers checked on the individual and reported they were okay.
Officers responded to the area of Upland Way, in regards to a report of kids playing in the roadway. The reporting party was worried the kids could get hit by a vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wild Horse Canyon, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the individual, reported everything was okay and the call was accidental.
Officers responded to the area of East Railroad Avenue, in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Officers contacted individuals in the area who reported the described person left prior to Officers arrival.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to an alarm. Officers contacted the resident and report everything was okay and the alarm was accidental.
