Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on August 12, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
August 13, 2014:

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on California Drive and Wind River Drive.

Officers took a report of a nuisance property at an address on Astle Avenue.

Officers responded to an address on Colorado Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.

Officers took a report of a nuisance property at an address on Chugwater Drive. Officers posted a notice at the residence.

Officers responded to an address on Elk Mountain Drive, in regards to a report of a nuisance property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Apache Avenue, in reference to a report of two dogs at large. The dog’s owners were contacted prior to Animal Control Officers arrival and the dogs were returned to their owner.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in reference to a report of a bat at the address.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a subject removal. Officers contacted two individuals who left the property per the reporting party’s request.

Officers contacted a resident on Hoover Drive, in regards to a nuisance property. The individual was given a verbal warning.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Kentucky Street, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers determined the call was accidental as the resident’s child had been playing on the phone.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, regarding a dog at large. The dog was described as a medium sized brown dog.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a found dog.

Officers responded to an address on East 3rd South, in reference to a report of a violation of a court order. Officers contacted the involved parties and completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Texas Way, in regards to a citizen assist involving a parking issue.

Officers contacted a resident by telephone that had questions regarding a juvenile problem.

Officers responded to an address on West Railroad Avenue, in reference to a report of a nuisance property. Officers completed a report regarding the complaint.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of harassment.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Wyoming Drive, in reference to a complaint of an individual having too many animals. Animal Control Officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Colorado Drive, regarding a civil standby.

Officers were dispatched to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers contacted two individuals who had a verbal dispute.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East 4th South, in reference to a report of a dog at large.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on East Flaming Gorge Way.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on West Teton Boulevard.

Officers responded to an address on Jefferson Street, regarding barking dog complaint. Officers addressed the complaint with the dog’s owner.

Officers responded to the area of Illinois Court, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers checked the area and contacted the reporting party.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Lombard Street, in regard to a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted the involved parties who had a verbal dispute.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Upland Way, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Officers checked the property and residence per the owner’s request and reported everything was okay.

Officers responded to an address on Evers Street, in reference to a welfare check. Officers contacted the resident who was okay and advised they would contact the concerned party.

Officers responded to an address on North 1st East, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. The reporting party stated juveniles were climbing on a building. Officers checked the area and reported no one was around the building and it was secure.
