Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on August 14, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
August 15, 2014:


Animal Control Officers responded to an address on North Center Street, regarding a barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers posted a notice at the residence.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on: West 2nd North, Driftwood Street, Jensen Street and Maple Circle.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Illinois Court, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers addressed the complaint with the owner of the dog.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Officers reported the call was accidental and that a child was playing on the phone.

Gary Brewer, age 45, was arrested per an active Sweetwater County Warrant for Domestic Battery.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of property destruction. Upon further investigation, Robert Lewis, age 31, was arrested for Malicious Mischief.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Bridger Drive.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of a rattlesnake in the resident’s garden.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Monroe Avenue, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as a Chocolate Labrador Retriever.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Andrews Street, regarding a found dog. The dog was described as a medium sized white dog.

Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a report of threats. The reporting party stated they received phone threats regarding a civil issue.

Animal Control Officers received a barking complaint call at an address on Illinois Court. Animal Control Officers competed a report regarding the incident.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way, regarding a barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers posted a notice at the address.

Officers responded to the area of North 5th West, in regards to a report of a parking complaint. Officers addressed the complaint with the owner of the vehicle.

Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of a parking complaint. Officers tagged the vehicle as abandoned.

Officers were dispatched to East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a parking complaint. Prior to Officers arrival the parking complaint was resolved.

Officers responded to a report of debris in the roadway on East Flaming Gorge Way. Upon arrival, Officers reported the roadway was clear of debris and there was no traffic hazard.

Officers responded to the area of Maryland Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers checked the area and reported everything was quiet.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Shoshone Avenue, in reference to a suspicious circumstance. The reporting party stated a vehicle’s hazard lights had been activated for awhile. Officers checked the vehicle that was locked with no one around. Officers contacted attempted to contact the owner and left a message with a family member.

Officers were dispatched to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to a report of a man who pointed a firearm at individuals then left the area. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with individuals who reported an individual stopped a vehicle in the street, got out of the vehicle, stated he was with a law enforcement agency and pointed a firearm at them. The individuals provided a description of the individual, vehicle and firearm. Officers later located the described person, vehicle and firearm. Raymond Price, age 46, was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The subject of this case is also under investigation regarding a separate case with the Green River Police Department.

Officers responded to the Union Pacific Railroad property off East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, Officers contacted an individual who was given a trespass warning for the property.
