Officers responded to a report of phone harassment. The reporting party received a harassing phone call from an unknown individual who disguised the phone number they called from.

On Monday, March 9, 2015 at approximately 10:16 a.m., Officers with the Green River Police Department responded to a residence on East Teton Boulevard, in regards to a report that a three year old child had accidently discharged a handgun striking their hand.
It was reported the child was playing in a bedroom with another child, and an adult was in another room of the residence with another child. The child found a .380 caliber handgun that was thought to have been unloaded.
The bullet passed through the child's hand and no one else was physically harmed in the incident. There were other firearms in the residence.
The child was taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County and transported to Primary's Children Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The family is cooperating with the investigation, which is still on going and no criminal charges have been filed at this time.
