Officers responded to a report of a dog bite which occurred on Riverview Drive near Uinta. The reporting party passed a teenaged boy walking a dog on a leash, as they approached each other the dog bit the reporting party.The teenaged boy and dog continued walking west on Riverview Drive and the reporting party contacted police when they returned home.
The dog was described as a medium sized dapple or brindle dog, brown, grey and white in color without stripes. The dog was further described as a possible blue heeler mix or bull terrier mix with pointed ears and a long straight tail. The owner of the dog and dog have not yet been identified and it is unknown if the dog's vaccinations are current.
