Officers responded to a two vehicle collision. It was reported a vehicle eastbound on East Flaming Gorge Way attempted to turn let onto Highway 530 (Uinta Drive) and collided with a vehicle traveling west on East Flaming Gorge Way.
Castle Rock Ambulance Service responded to the accident, checked on the involved parties none on which were transported by ambulance to the hospital. Benjamin Archuleta, age 68 of Montrose, was issued a citation for failure to yield at a traffic control signal.

Officers and the Green River Fire Department responded to a report of smoke coming from the rear tires of a bus. It was reported a passing motorist witnessed the incident and used a water house connected to a residence to assist.
Upon arrival, the Green River Fire Department ensured it was extinguished, no injuries were reported and the vehicle was moved from the roadway.
