Officers met an individual at the police department who reported they were looking on the internet for financial aid. The reporting party was contacted a short time later by phone by an individual with a foreign accent, claiming he could assist with financial aid that the reporting party would not have to be pay back. The caller did not provide a business name. The reporting party was asked for personal information, became suspicious and did not provide any personal information and reported no monetary loss.

Officers received a report that an individual attempted to exchange a $100 bill, that a counterfeit detecting marker indicated was counterfeit. The suspected currency was not exchanged, the individual was told by the reporting party the currency did not appear real and to check with their bank. Officers completed a report regarding the incident, which is under investigation.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance of individuals yelling outside. Officers contacted Jennifer Portillo, age 22 of Green River, who was arrested per a Rock Springs Municipal Court Warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on original charges of interference with and drunk in public. Portillo was also charged with public intoxication.
Officers also contacted Jackson Duncan, age 28 of Green River, who was arrested for public intoxication.

It was reported a vehicle parked at a fuel pump, was contacted and damaged by a vehicle traveling through the parking lot attempting to enter a parking spot. No injuries were reported, Clyde Siler, age 75 of Green River, was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
