The vehicle was struck from behind by a multi purpose vehicle. Castle Rock Ambulance Service was called to check on a child passenger. No injuries were reported, Jon Bloom, age 55 of Green River, was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

Officers contacted a resident who reported an attempted phone scam. The reporting party was contacted by an individual over the phone claiming they received their phone number by a note left on their vehicle when it was struck by a vehicle. The caller then asked for personal information, the reporting party had not been in an accident, did not provide the caller with any information and reported no monetary loss.
