Richard Wheeler, age 47, of Green River was arrested on 2/6/11, at 15:52 hours on Jefferson Street for Driving While Intoxicated. Wheeler was stopped for a traffic offense and was found to be intoxicated.
Joseph P Schath, age 49, no know address, was arrested on 2/4/11 at 12:48 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person and while questioning Schath learned of arrest warrants out of Niobrara County for Criminal Entry and Trespass.
Stephen J Furbacher, age 25, of Green River was cited for Vicious Animal and Dog at large while officers were investigating a report of a dog bite on Commerce Way.
Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on E Flaming Gorge Way. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officer investigated a report of an Assault on 2/2/11 at 20:30 hours at the Subway Store parking lot when a 56 year old male reported being assaulted by two men in dark hoodies type jackets. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated the reports of five Auto Thefts over the weekend at various locations in the city. All five vehicles have been recovered. All the vehicles had been left unlocked with the keys were left in the vehicles. There were also several Auto Burglaries throughout the city in which the vehicles were unlocked and valuables were stolen. The GRPD urges the citizens of Green River to remove any valuables from your vehicles and locked them to prevent you from becoming a victim of these types of crimes.
A Larceny report was reported on Andrews Street when the license plates were stolen from a parked vehicle.
A Larceny report was taken on Uinta Drive when the driver of a newer grey Dodge Dakota 4 door truck pumped $31.00 in gas and drove off without paying. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A welfare check was initiated on Uinta Drive and subject was transported to Memorial Hospital.
An Interference with Custody report was taken on Monroe Ave and forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers assisted with a civil standby on Idaho Street. A traffic crash was investigated on Logan St.
