Michelle N Smith, age 37, of Green River was arrested on 3/09/11 at 07:50 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way. An Officer observed Smith standing outside Penny’s Diner and he was aware of an outstanding arrest warrant for Smith. This officer contacted Smith and advised her of the warrant. Smith was placed under arrest per the warrant on the original charge of Child Endangering and was transported to jail without incident.

Paul L Schmeid, age 44, of Green River was cited for Nuisance Animal on 3/7/11 at 11:29 hours on Monroe Street. Animal Control Officers responded to a complaint of barking dogs on Monroe Street. Officers could hear two dogs barking at the location. The owner of the dogs was contacted and cited for the violation.

Officers investigated a traffic crash at the Golden Hour Citizen Center parking lot when a vehicle driven by Jesse Reinard backed into a parked vehicle owned by Carmen Tune. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at under $1000. No injuries were reported.

Brent Bergan of Evanston Wyoming reported a blue fiberglass ladder, valued at $100, was stolen from the bed of his pickup truck while he was parked on E Flaming Gorge Way. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Caroline Aldous reported the theft of a Brinkman Smoker and propane tank, valued at $285, from the front of residence at 485 E 3rd N. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers initiated a welfare check on Mountain Fuel Station.

Suspicious circumstances were reported when a loud noise, possibly a gunshot, was heard in the area of Astle Ave and Jensen Street. A check of the area was done and nothing unusual was found.

A report of a vicious animal was investigated on Firehole Place. The report was forwarded to the City Attorney for review.
