Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on 3/11/11 at 17:34 hours the Smith’s Food parking lot when an unknown vehicle struck a parked red Ford Escort car owned by Spencer Cantu. Damage to the Cantu car was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash in the alley at S 5th E when truck Driven by Lawrence Lowell struck a van driven by Candace Morris. Damage to the Morris vehicle was estimated at over $1000 and no damage was reported to the Lowell truck. No Injuries were reported and Lowell was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers investigated a crash at the GRHS parking lot when a truck driven by Virginia Stott struck a parked truck owned by Brenda Holmes. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each. No injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a traffic crash on Uinta Drive when a van driven by Diane Simco attempted to cross Uinta Drive. Vehicle # 2, driven by Carissa Phillips, was struck by the Simco van. Both vehicles continued in a south east direction and vehicle two then struck a third vehicle driven by Teresa Valdez, which was at the stop sign at State Farm Insurance office. Driver two and driver three, along with a passenger from vehicle two were transported to Memorial hospital. All three vehicles sustained substantial damage and were towed from the scene. Simco was cited for Failure to Yield.

A report of Passing a Counterfeit bill was taken on Uinta Drive. A Larceny report was taken on N 1st E. A Domestic violence report was taken on E 4th S and it was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
