William R Clark, age 40, of Granger Wyoming, was arrested on 3/17/11 at 21:37 hours on Uinta Drive. Officers stopped a truck driven by Clark for a traffic violation and further investigation showed Clark to have an outstanding arrest warrant out Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Battery. Clark was also charged with Driving While Suspended and Open Container. Two passengers in the truck, Paul Stromberg age 47 and Jesse Kunz age 35, both of Green River, were cited for Open Container.
Sean Ryan Garay, age 19, of Garden City Utah, was arrested on 3/18/11 at 04:09 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way. Officers were dispatched to the Sweetwater County Court House regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival officer located Garay, who was without pants and shoes, stated he couldn’t remember the events of the evening and where he left his clothes. Officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol on Garay’s breath and he was arrested for Public Intoxication and Underage Consumption of Alcohol.
Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on Wilkes Drive. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
A report of Burglary was investigated on Uinta Drive when a worker at the Forest Service building found a door forced open at the rear of the building.
A Larceny report was investigated at the GRHS when a student reported his cell phone stolen from his locker. A suspect was developed and he admitted to taking the phone. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
A Fraud report was taken on Tennessee Drive when parent reported his six year olds social security number had been used to obtain a credit card.
A verbal dispute was reported on Medicine Bow Drive.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Daniel Boone Drive.
A wallet belonging to Stephanie A Mays was found on Railroad Street and turned over to the police.
