Brock Shreve, age 18, of Casper Wyoming, was arrested on 5/13/11 at 23:57 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way for Use of Marijuana. Shreve was in town with a soccer team and the coach caught Shreve along with two other juvenile players smoking marijuana in their hotel room bathroom. The coach reported the incident to police and Shreve admitted to possessing the marijuana and furnishing it to the other two juveniles on the team. The County Attorney’s office authorized the incarceration of the juveniles.

A twelve year old male was transported to the County jail from the Green River Youth Home at the request of staff after the youth began to threaten staff members. The County Attorney’s Office authorized the request for incarceration and officers transported the youth.

A 14 year old male and a 15 year old female were arrested for Curfew on 5/14/11 at 00:32 hours on E Teton Blvd. The suspects were contacted at Veteran’s Park when officers checked on their vehicle which was parked near the playground. The male suspect gave officers false information and he was also cited for Interference with a Police Officer. The suspects were transported to the police department and later released to their respective parents.

Geneva G Moore, age 47, of Green River, was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Seatbelt on 5/14/11 at 20:41 hours on E Flaming Gorge Way. Moore was stopped for a registration violation and a driver’s license check revealed Moore’s license to be suspended.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel with the transport of a 31 year old female unknown reaction to alcohol. The female advised officers she was the victim of a domestic assault and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A report of an Assault was investigated on W 3rd N when the victim, a 42 year old male advised he was assaulted by a 30 year old male. The victim stated the assault occurred at his apartment when he asked three people to leave after a female took out a glass pipe and wanted to smoke marijuana. The victim stated he was escorting one of the males out of his apartment when he was punched on the face. The suspect was contacted by phone and stated he acted in self defense. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney for review.

A report of Larceny was taken at the Mast Lounge when one of the workers reported she had a number of prescription medication taken from her purse. The suspect was contacted and she advised she had purchased some pills from the victim. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.


A report of a youth Carrying a Concealed Weapon was taken on Monroe Ave. A 14 year male was caught by a teacher showing a sharpened letter opener to another student. The weapon was confiscated and the student was dealt with by school administration.

A report of Battery was investigated on Monroe Ave when an 11 year old male report he was assaulted by three other juveniles. Descriptions of the youths were taken and a check of the area proved negative. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A report of Criminal Entry was taken on Bridger Drive when the victims reported her 19 year old neighbor tried to enter her apartment though her kitchen window. The neighbor was contacted and he explained he made a mistake and thought he was entering his own apartment.

Officers investigated a report of Criminal Entry and Malicious Mischief on Indian Hills Drive at about 11:45 hours when the victims reported someone had attempted to kick in the door to their apartment causing over $300 in damages to the door. The victims stated they had just rented the apartment and had not yet moved in, so nothing was stolen. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Threats report was taken at Juvenile Probation and Parole when a Parole officer reported she received information regarding a threat from a client, a 14 year old male. The third party stated the juvenile advised he is a member of a gang and adult members of the gang were going to kill the probation officer in retaliation for her disrespecting the gang’s hand book.

A report of Anonymous Lewd Telephone calls was taken on Medicine Bow Drive when a 10 year old male reported to his parents and then to the police he received text messages with sexual content from an unknown person. Officers were able to identify the phone from where the messages originated and found they were from other juveniles. Their parents were contacted and they advised the problem would be corrected.

Suspicious Circumstances were investigated at the Green River Recreation Center on 5/13/11 at 21:09 hours when a 9 year old girl reported a male subject tried to get her to go with him. The girl went into the Recreation Center and reported the incident to the staff. A car matching the description given by witnesses was later seen parked on Bramwell Street. The registered owner has not been contacted at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Shoshone Drive. A Harassment report was taken on Daniel Boone Drive. Officers assisted Fire Dept personnel with a fire alarm on W Flaming Gorge Way.
