Joshua P Myers, age 36, of Green River was arrested on 5/26/11, at 15:13 hours on N 8th W. Officers were dispatched to a report of a Domestic Battery in front of Washington School. Upon arrival officers spoke with Kaylene M Myers who advised her husband, Joshua Myers, and her were having verbal dispute when he pushed her on the chest causing her to fall to the ground. Mrs. Myers account was confirmed by a third party witness not known by the Myers. Officers documented physical injuries and Mr. Myers was arrested and transported to jail.

Misty R Mares, age 20, of Green River and Chris Garcia, age 24 also of Green River were arrested on 5/26/11 at 13:13 hours on Anvil Drive. Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival offices spoke with Garcia who had apparent injuries to his facial area and advised he was hit by a flower basket that was thrown at him by Mares. Officers then went to the rear of the apartment and spoke with Mares. Officers observed injuries to Mares’s arms as she was holding a month and a half old infant. Officers smelled the odor of burnt marijuana in the residence. Subsequent investigation showed both parties had access to the marijuana and knew it was being used in the residence with the infant present. Mares and Garcia were both arrested for Domestic Battery, Child Endangering and Possession of Marijuana. The Department of Family Services was contacted and the infant was placed in their care.

Jeremy C Potter, age 31, of Green River was arrested on 5/26/11 at 21:22 hours on Uinta Drive. Officers were dispatched to a truck that was blocking traffic at Uinta and Riverview Drive. Contact was made with Potter who was asleep at the wheel of the pickup truck. Subsequent investigation showed Potter to be intoxicated and he was arrested and transported to jail.

Thomas C Jensen, age 41, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 5/26/11 at 09:15 hours on Uinta Drive. Officers observed Jensen driving a silver jeep and officers were aware Jensen’s driver’s license to be suspended. Officers confirmed the suspension through dispatch and he was stopped and cited for the violation.

Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on Schultz Street when a female reported being assaulted by her husband. The husband left the home prior to the police arriving and had not been located. A report was taken and forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A report of Grand Larceny was taken at Lincoln Middle School when an inventory of school property revealed over $8000 in property is missing.

A Larceny report was taken at the Flaming Gorge Loaf and Jug when a male and female in a red Chevrolet Cavalier pumped $41.00 in gas and drove off without paying.

A Dog at Large report was investigated on Mountain View Drive.
