Travis B Strange, age 35, of Green River, was arrested on 6/12/11, at 19:50 hours on Bridger Drive. Officers responded to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital regarding a female who was at the hospital being treated for her injuries she sustained in a domestic battery that occurred in Green River. The victim reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend, Strange, earlier in the morning and that she and Strange were in his apartment in Green River when the assault occurred. Strange was later contacted on Bridger Drive and arrested for Domestic Battery.
Ashley N Brewer, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 6/12/11 at 03:17 hours on Wilderness Drive. Officers responded to a trailer on Wilderness Drive when the victim reported an intoxicated female, unknown to him, was pounding on his front door. Upon arrival Brewer was sitting on the victim’s front deck. Officers became to question Brewer and she became verbally abusive. Brewer was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to County jail.
Garrett K Olson, age 22, of Green River was arrested on 6/11/11 at 02:22 hours on E Flaming Gorge Way for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers stopped Olson’s vehicle for a headlight violation and subsequent investigation showed Olson to be intoxicated.
Pedro Guerricagoitia, age 63, of Green River was arrested on 6/10/11 at 19:50 hours on Uinta Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers were called to a traffic crash at the Maverick Store. During the course of the investigation it was determined that Guerricagoitia was intoxicated and he was arrested and transported to jail.
Jane M Cagle, age 46, of Green River was arrested on 6/10/11 at 17:06 hours on Shoshone Ave for Driving While Suspended. Cagle was stopped for speeding and subsequent investigation showed her driver’s license was suspended.
Garrett K Olson age 22, of Green River was cited on 6/10/11 at 23:10 hours on W 2nd S for Use of a Cell Phone While Driving. Olson was observed texting while he was driving; just prior to the stop; the passenger in the vehicle, Jake Allgier, was seen throwing a cigarette butt out the passenger window of the vehicle. Allgier, age 22, of Green River, was cited for Littering.
Thomas McMullen age 29, of Green River was cited for a Vicious Animal on 6/10/11 at 22:36 hours on Wilkes Drive when his dog attacked another dog that was on a leash. McMullen could not provide proof his dog has its shots and the dog was impounded.
A report of Grand Larceny was taken on Bridger Drive when the victim reported someone stole a hydraulic rebar bender from the back of his work truck. The bender was valued at $2000 was believed to be taken on 6/8/11. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A Larceny report was taken at the E Flaming Gorge Loaf and Jug when the driver of green 1993 Ford pickup truck pumped $80.41 and drove off without paying. The manager was able to write down the truck’s registration prior to its leaving. The suspect is believed to have done the same thing in the past at the same station. The suspect has been identified and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A Larceny report was taken at the E Flaming Gorge Loaf and Jug when the driver of a silver vehicle with half of the front bumper missing, pumped $33 in gas and then drove off without paying. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of Aggravated Burglary on Alaska Drive when someone stole a silver handgun from the console of a red 2007 pickup truck. The victim stated he accidently left his truck unlocked at the time of the theft. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on 6/11/11 at 14:48 hours on N 2nd E when Bobby Bingham reported someone hit his red 2005 Ford Focus and left without reporting over $1000 in damages. Anyone with information please call the GROD at 972-0555.
Officers investigated a crash at the Warehouse Home Furnishings parking lot when a truck driven by Tyler Laws backed into a parked car owned by Birdie Littrell. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on Wild Horse Canyon Road when a vehicle struck two light poles causing in excess of $10,000 in damages. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a crash in the alley behind Green River Cable TV when a car driven by Melody Roberts backed into a utility pole causing over $1000 in damages to her car. No damages were reported to the utility pole and no injuries were reported.
A report of Malicious Mischief was taken on Fawn Circle when Ronnie Montoya advised some broke out the driver’s side window of his 1995 Ford pickup truck. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Suspicious Circumstances were reported on Hackberry Street when the victim advised she heard someone turning the door knob of her from door.
A verbal dispute was reported on Logan Street when a stepfather and stepson had words and the stepfather broke out a window in his home. The parties were separated for the night. A wallet owned by Robert Maes was found on E Teton Blvd.
