Samuel A McDonald, age 26, of Green River was arrested on 6/23/11 at 09:30 hours at Sweetwater Memorial Hospital for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. McDonald checked himself for evaluation after he pointed a loaded rifle at his wife on 6/22/11. Upon his release, McDonald was taken into custody and transported to the County jail.
Austin Pacheco, age 19, of Green River was arrested on 6/23/11 09:00 hours at the Sweetwater County Jail on a warrant out of Municipal Court for Failure to Pay Fines on the original charge of Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Officers learned Pacheco was in jail for an unrelated matter and he was about to be released. Officers were aware of a city warrant for Pacheco’s arrest. The warrant was confirmed and served while Pacheco was still in jail.
Joshua L Bittle, age 18, of Green River was arrested on 6/23/11 at 08:20 hours on E Teton Blvd on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Battery. A report of Battery was investigated on 10/31/10 that alleged Bittle assaulted a 15 year female on Wyoming Street. A warrant for Bittle's arrest was issued on 5/16/11.
Josiah B Flores, age 18, of Green River was cited for Underage Consumption on 6/24/11 on E Teton Blvd at 00:53 hours. Flores was stopped for a possible Curfew violation and he was determined to be under the influence of alcohol.
A Cruelty to Animals report was investigated on 6/22/11 on Firehole Place when an unknown person shot a bird with a dart.
A Larceny report was investigated on Green River Way when the victim reported someone had siphoned gasoline from her vehicle, a white 1996 GMC Suburban. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A Malicious mischief report was taken on Alabama Drive when the reporting party stated he witnessed two juvenile males spray painting concrete walls at Harrison School.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on N 7th W. An IPOD was found at the Splash Park on 6/23/11. A South Dakota driver’s license belonging to Matthew S Pepin was found on Wilkes Drive. A Vicious animal report was taken on Wild Horse Canyon Road. Suspicious Circumstances were reported on Green River Way when the reporting party advised two males on a small motorcycle were looking in parked car windows while using a flashlight. The GRPD would like to remind our citizens not leave valuables in vehicle and be sure to lock your vehicle.
