Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a skunk in a trap on Evers St.
Officers responded along with Fire Department and Ambulance personnel to a fire alarm at Castle Rock Villa. The alarm had malfunctioned and was reset.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Truman school to a report of a dog at large. A black lab puppy was impounded.
Officers assisted Department of Family Services on a welfare check on Jefferson St.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Barnhart and Uinta to investigate a two vehicle accident. Jeffrey Schalow, 56 of Green River was cited for Inattentive Driving after driving his 2003 Jeep Liberty into 2004 Buick driven by Sandra Clark, 34 of Green River. There were no injuries, but both vehicles received over $1,000 in estimated damages and Schalow’s Jeep was disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
Animal Control Officers investigated a reported dog bite on W. 2 N. A dog owner was bitten while trying to break up a fight between the dog owner’s dog and a friend’s dog.
Officers were dispatched to W. 3 N. to a suspicious circumstances report.
Officers assisted Department of Family Services on a home visit on Cumorah Way.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Crossbow Drive when a 21 year old woman reported she was having an allergic reaction to a prescribed anti-biotic medication. The woman was having difficulty breathing, but refused transport to the hospital by ambulance.
Officers responded to a third party report of a found child at the Splash Park at Evers Park. Officers searched the area around the Splash Park, but didn’t find any unattended children there nor did the police department receive any missing children reports from a parent or guardian.
Officers were dispatched to a civil problem on Jensen St.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the Pamida parking lot to a report of a dog locked in an enclosed car. Upon arrival the owner exited the store and the dog’s condition was checked and found to be ok.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Cumorah Way.

Officers were dispatched to a business on Bridger Drive to a reported shoplifting. The investigation into the reported crime is being continued.
Officers assisted a citizen who came to the police department with questions about an earlier case.
Officers assisted a citizen on Mansface St.
Dennis Gross, 57 of Reliance was arrested for DUI and having an open container police received a REDDI report on the vehicle Gross was driving. Officers responded to the area and observed a car matching the description and observed a suspicious driving pattern before making a traffic stop of the vehicle. Officers arrested Gross for the violations and transported him to the Green River Police Department. A Sweetwater County Deputy Sheriff later transported Gross to the Sweetwater County Detention Center where he was booked into jail.
