Lonnie E Gipson, age 63, of Rock Springs was arrested on 7/23/11 at 01:20 hours on W Railroad Ave for a Lane Use and Driving While Intoxicated. An officer was on patrol on W Railroad Ave when he witnessed a car driven by Gipson strike the rear of a parked car. When the officer went to check on the driver he discovered Gipson was intoxicated. Gipson was taken onto custody and transported to jail.

Kandi Treantenou, age 44, of Green River was arrested on 7/23/11 at 15:46 hours on Logan Street for Driving While Suspended. Officers were dispatched to a welfare check on Logan Street and enroute to the call Treantenou, the reported victim, was seen driving a motorcycle. The officer was aware Treantentou’s driver’s license was suspended and she was contacted, taken into custody and transported to jail.

Carmelita Lavin, age 30, of Green River was cited for Disturbing the Peace on7/24/11 at 03:58 hours on Bridger Drive. Officers were dispatched to a loud party call and Lavin was contacted and cited.

Officers investigated a report of an Aggravated Assault on Wilkes Drive on 7/24/11 at 23:04 hours when the victim reported she had a gun put to her head by an unknown individual while she was involved in a domestic dispute with her stepfather. Witnesses at the scene gave conflicting accounts of what occurred and the case is still under investigation.

Officers investigated a crash on Uinta Drive when a car driven by Debra Mount struck a deer on the roadway. No injuries were reported and damage to the Mount vehicle was estimated at over $1000.

Officers investigated a crash on Hillcrest Way when a car driven by Shirley Darnell struck a parked truck owned by Joseph Keller which was pushed into a vehicle owned by Jo Ellen Keller. Damage to the Darnell car and the Keller pickup truck was estimated at over $1000 each. Damage to the Keller SUV was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a crash on Hitching Post Drive when a car driven by James Stevens struck the rear of a truck driven by Jonathan Coyle. Damage to the Steven’s car was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Coyle truck and no injuries was reported. Stevens was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers investigated a crash on E Teton Blvd when a truck driven by Bronwyn Moore struck a truck driven by Ronald Berg. Damage to both trucks was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported. Moore was cited for an illegal U turn.

Nichole Connor reported her car was struck by an unknown vehicle at an unknown time and location causing under $1000 in damages.

A Trespass warning was issued on Uinta Drive at the request of the victim when she returned home and found her ex-boyfriend in her residence. The boyfriend left her residence without incident. Officers later contacted the suspect by phone and gave him the trespass warning.

A Trespass warning was issued for the Star Twin Theatre when a patron tried to bring in a soda not purchased at the theatre. The patrons were asked to leave and they became verbally abusive to the theatre manager. The police were called and the suspects were later contacted at their residence and given the trespass warning.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Bridger Drive. Accidental damage was reported on Colorado Drive when an individual backed his camp trailer into the side of his home. A person reported missing in Oregon was located in Green River. The Oregon authorities were contacted and advised she was safe. A wallet belonging to Nuuiva Magele was found and turned in to the Police. Accidental Damage was reported on E 2nd N when an individual who was trimming weeds inadvertently kicked up a rock and shattered a glass door. A Barking Dog report was taken on Wilderness Trail. A verbal domestic dispute was reported on N 7th W.
