Rex J Barney, age 57, of Green River was arrested on 8/3/11 at 20:43 hours on Astle Ave and Clark Street for Driving While Intoxicated. Barney’s vehicle was stopped for a lane use violation and subsequent investigation showed him to be too intoxicated to drive safely. Barney was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Matthew Thompson, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 8/3/11 at 09:05 hours on Commerce Way for Use of Marijuana and Methamphetamine. Thompson was contacted at Adult Probation and Parole after he tested positive for both Marijuana and Methamphetamine. Thompson was taken into custody and transported to jail.

A 14 year old male was cited for Shoplifting on 8/3/11 at 22:12 hours on Bridger Drive. The juvenile was contacted after he stole a bottle of cough medicine and left the store.

A Larceny report was taken on E Flaming Gorge Way when the driver of a white passenger car pumped $11.00 in gas and left the station without paying. The driver later returned and paid for the gas.

A juvenile problem was reported on Pennsylvania Blvd on 8/2/11 at 17:00 hours.

Officers investigated a crash at the Smith’s Store parking lot when a car driven by Autumn Greene struck a vehicle driven by Melinda Barker. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on W Teton Blvd when a truck driven by Sara Zajic struck a parked truck owned by Fern Barney. Zajic left the scene without reporting the crash and she was later found at her residence and cited. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a crash at the Maverick Store parking lot when Tanisha Winner backed into a cement post protecting the gas pumps. Damage to the car driven by Winner was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported.

Trespass warnings were issued to four teenage females who were suspected of shoplifting at a local store.
