Blain J Kennah, age 31, of Green River, was arrested on 8/17/11 at 02:34 hours on E Railroad Ave for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers observed a truck parked on the sidewalk at Railroad Ave and N 1st E. Subsequent investigation showed Kennah was involved in a traffic crash and was intoxicated. Kennah was arrested and transported to jail.

Kyle R Kinser, age 25, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance on 8/16/11 at 23:52 hours on Scotts Bottom Road. Kinser’s vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and subsequent investigation showed his driver’s license was suspended by the State of Texas and he had no proof of insurance in the vehicle.

Levi A Schoenwald, age 23, of Rock Springs was arrested on 8/16/11 at 16:21 hours on Commerce Way for Use of Methamphetamine. Officers were dispatched to Adult Probation and Parole regarding Schoenwald testing positive for methamphetamine. Based on the probable cause provided by Probation and Parole agents and a written confession provided by Schoenwald, he was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a Burglary on Bridger Drive when the victim reported someone entered her apartment and stole some prescription medication while she was out.

Officers investigated a crash on Railroad Ave when a truck driven by Blain Kennah struck a landscaping rock and the truck became high centered. Damages to the truck was estimated at under $1000 and the passenger in the vehicle was transported to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

Officers investigated a crash on W Teton Blvd when a car driven by Christopher Carmine struck a parked camp trailer owned by Charlynn Jeffrey. Carmine left the scene without reporting the crash. Damage to the Carmine car was estimated at over $1000 as was the damage to trailer. No injuries were reported. Carmine was cited for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash, No Insurance and Reckless Driving.

Officers investigated a crash at the Uinta Loaf and Jug parking lot when vehicles driven by Julie Fornengo and Nancy Eckland backed into each other causing minor damage to each vehicle and no injuries were reported.

Accidental damage was reported when a city employee was using a weed eater and kicked up a stone and broke out the window of a vehicle causing $250 in damages.

Officers assisted Department of Family Services personnel with a welfare check on Trona Drive.

A purse and camera were found on Uinta Drive. A bag containing a camera and an IPOD was found at Stratton Meyer Park.

A Malicious Mischief report was taken at 2345 Hitching Post Drive when the victim reported someone shot out a second floor window with a bb gun. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A verbal domestic dispute was reported on Trona Drive.
