David M Cox, age 27, of Green River was arrested on 4/30/10 at 11:08 hours on E 2nd N. Mr. Cox turned himself in at the police department regarding an active arrest warrant out of Circuit Court for a Battery that occurred in December of 2008.
A 17 year old male was arrested on4/30/10 at 10:00 hours on Hitching Post Drive. The juvenile was located at the GRHS and the warrant was confirmed through the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect’s parents were contacted and he was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and booked in for Battery.
Becca Brown, age 20, of Rock Springs was arrested on 4/30/10 at 09:58 hours on Commerce Way. Brown was arrested on an Arrest and Hold Order from Probation and Parole when she arrived at her appointment intoxicated. Brown was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center without incident.
Jeremy M Mizel, age 33 of Big Piney Wyoming, was arrested on 5/2/10 at 00:50 hours on Monroe Ave for Driving While Intoxicated. Mizel was stopped for a lane use violation and it was determined he was under the influence of alcohol after performing poorly on sobriety maneuvers. Mizel was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center where a test of his blood alcohol level showed he was intoxicated.
A 17 year old male was arrested on 5/2/10 at 00:12 hours on Wyoming Drive for driving While Intoxicated. The suspect was stopped for an equipment violation and through further investigation it was determined he was under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and a test of his blood alcohol concentration showed he was impaired.
Blake M Coy, age 18, of Green River was cited for Underage Consumption of Alcohol on 5/2/10 at 00:12 hours on Wyoming Drive. Coy was a passenger in a vehicle when the driver was arrested for DWUI. It was determined that Coy was also under the influence of alcohol and he was cited and released.
Officers investigated a crash at the McDonald’s restaurant drive thru window when car driven by Kimberly Glasscock struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Laura Miller. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000.
Officers investigated a crash at the Arctic Circle drive thru window when a truck driven by Dillon Thomas struck the rear of a car driven by Kason Hall. Damage to the Hall car was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Thomas truck.
A Larceny report was taken on Montana Way when four individuals were caught trying to steal a Handicapped parking sign from the parking area at Edgewater Park. The case has been sent to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Evans Street when the victim told officers his truck door was dented by an unknown source causing $200 in damages. The victim told officers the truck was parked in the driveway four about four months and hasn’t been moved.
