Rusti Lynn Estep, age 34, of Rock Springs was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Proof of Insurance on 9/19/11 at 07:12 hours on Uinta Drive. Estep was stopped for speeding and a driver’s license check showed her license was suspended.

A 14 year old female was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Spice on 9/19/11 at 10:14 hours at the GRHS.

A 14 year old female was cited for Possession of Tobacco on 9/19/11 at 11:43 hours at the GRHS.

Officers investigated a report of 17 year old male to be in possession of Marijuana on 9/19/11 at 20:42 hours on Hitching Post Drive. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A Larceny report was taken on Monroe Ave when the victim reported his maroon Next bicycle stolen from behind his apartment building. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Larceny report was taken on Windriver Drive when the victim reported his ex-wife hacked into his bank account and transferred $400 from his account to his ex-mother in-laws account without his permission. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

A Trespass warning was issued on Monroe Ave on 9/16/11 at 18:58 hours.

A Fraud report was taken on Aspen Street when the reporting party advised she received a letter and a check from a NEX company telling her to cash the check for $1990.50 and keep $500 and send the balance by Western Union back to NEX. The reporting party researched the Secret Shoppers program on the internet and found it was a scam. The GRPD would like to remind our citizens there are many scams requesting people to cash checks, keep an amount and send the money out of state or out of the country.
