Kelly Lell, age 28, of Green River was arrested on 9/24/11 at 22:03 hours on Nolan Street for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to Club 86 regarding a subject removal. Lell was contacted and allowed to leave with a sober driver. Lell later returned to the area of Club 86 and she was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Irene Medina, age 71, of Green River was cited for Shoplifting on 9/23/11 at 13:58 hours on Bridger Drive. Officers were dispatched to Smith’s regarding a shoplifter. Upon arrival store employees had Medina detained and she was cited and given a trespass warning and released.
Officers investigated a report of Property Destruction on E Flaming Gorge Way when the manager of the Mustang Hotel reported that transients damaged a TV valued at $350 on 9/18/11 at 18:51 hours. Officers were called to the hotel when the manager observed there were four people in the room rented to one female subject, Chelsea McConney. The manager asked the subjects to leave and they became verbally abusive and damaged the TV.
Officers investigated a Felony Property report on Shoshone Ave when the owner’s of a black 2006 Toyota pickup truck was vandalized by subjects unknown. The victim advised someone scratched her truck causing more than $1000 in damages. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A report of an Auto Burglary was taken on E 4th S when the victim reported someone entered two of her vehicles and stole $5.00.
Officers investigated a Burglary on W 2nd N when the victim advised someone entered his residence and stole over $400 of stereo equipment from his living room.
Officers investigated an Auto Burglary on E 4th S when the victim advised someone entered three vehicles parked at his residence and stole numerous items from within. The thefts were believed to have happed between 22:30 hours on Thursday the 22nd and 07:00 on 9/23/11.
Officers took two other reports were suspects entered vehicles on E 4th S and S 3rd E but didn’t remove any property. All the vehicles that were entered were unlocked. Again the GRPD would like to remind our residents that Auto Burglaries are usually crimes of opportunity and removing valuables and locking vehicles is usually enough to deter most auto burglaries.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on E Flaming Gorge Way when an unknown vehicle struck a pickup truck owned by Paula Attebury minor damage to the grill of her vehicle.
Officers investigated a crash at the Eagles parking lot when a vehicle driven by Rose Rudy backed into a parked truck by Buddy Maynard. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
A Hit and Run crash was taken at the Hampton Inn parking lot when an unknown truck struck a lamp post causing minor damage to the post.
Officers investigated a crash on Wilkes Drive when a pickup truck driven by Kenyon Baker struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Peter Moller. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported Baker was cited for Inattentive Driving.
An Animal at Large report was investigated on W Teton Blvd. A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Astle Ave. A juvenile problem was reported on Idaho Street. Suspicious Circumstances were reported on Uinta Drive. A bicycle was found on W Flaming Gorge Way. A verbal domestic dispute was reported on Adams Street; no physical violence was reported.
