Leslie L Lucas, age 48, of Green River was arrested on 10/19/11 at 10:06 hours on E 2nd N for probation violations on the original charge of Public Intoxication. Municipal Court Judge Petri sentenced Lucas to 30 days in county jail and she was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Heather Lally, age 31, of Rock Springs was arrested on 10/20/11 at 08:40 hours on S 1st W on a warrant out of Municipal Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Use of a Cell Phone While Driving. Lally was stopped for a speeding violation and a records checked showed an arrest warrant for her and she was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Keisha Martin, age 28, of Rock Springs was arrested on 10/20/11 at 19:05 hours on W Teton Blvd for Trespass. Officers responded to an intruder call at 2395 W Teton Blvd and subsequent investigation showed Martin was in a residence without the owner’s permission. Martin was taken into custody and transported to jail.
A report of a violation of a Family Protection Order was taken on Shoshone Ave when the victim advised her husband is using her step child to violate the protection order by having her show up at the victim’s residence unannounced and asking questions. A copy of the report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a crash at the GRHS parking lot when a truck driven by a 17 year old male struck the rear of a truck driven by a 16 year old male. Damage to both trucks was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported. The 17 year old male was cited for Inattentive Driving.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents with witnessing a drug test on Commercial Way.
A parking complaint was taken on E Teton Blvd.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on Ironwood Street.
A parking complaint was taken at the parking lot of Don Pedro’s restaurant.
Officers responded to a complaint of a phone scam in which the victim received a call that his granddaughter was injured and taken to the hospital and could not speak with the victim but she needed $5000 sent to her. The victim realized it was a scam and no money was sent. The Green River Police Department would like to remind our citizens of many different types of scams out there and not to send money to anyone without verifying it is a legitimate circumstance. If you have any questions call the police prior to sending money.
A report of a Battery was investigated at Expedition Academy when two student were kidding around and a third student became involved and the situation became physical.
A Malicious Mischief report was taken at Harrison School when a student broke a cell phone of another student.
A parking complaint was taken on Boulder Drive.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Anvil Drive. The subject was contacted and advised.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Municipal horse corrals. The driver was tired and resting for a while.
