Jeffrey R Mathews, age 21, of Rock Springs was arrested on 11/12/11 at 20:05 hours on Schultz Street for Malicious Mischief and Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to a Malicious Mischief report on Schultz Street and were advised Mathews was asked to leave a party at a residence because he was intoxicated and belligerent. Officers were further advised Mathews left the party and on his was out threw a bottle that broke a window of a car that was parked at the residence. Mathews was later located asleep in his car and was subsequently arrested taken into custody and transported to jail.

Allen R Reep, age 21, of Green River was arrested on 11/12/11 at 02:03 hours on E Teton blvd for Driving While Intoxicated. Reep ws stopped for Speeding and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Reep was taken into custody and transported to jail.

A 16 year old male was cited for Possession of Alcohol by a minor on 11/11/11 at 21:52 hours. Officers were dispatched to Clearview Lanes Bowling Center regarding an anonymous report of juveniles drinking and subsequent investigation showed a 16 year old male had an opened 12 pack of beer in his pickup truck.

An Auto Burglary report was taken on Uinta Drive on 11/11/11 at 08:45 hours when the owner reported her ex-boyfriend stole a child car seat from her car. The suspect’s vehicle was located and the car seat was recovered. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A residential Burglary was reported on 11/9/11 at 21:30 hours on E 3rd S. when the victim advised her residence was entered and a Nintento gaming system and game was stolen from her home. The victim provided the police with a suspect and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

A Larceny report was taken on Uinta Drive when the victim advised someone stole the front drive line from his white and red Chevrolet pickup truck which was parked in the back of the NAPA Auto Parts Store. The victim valued his loss at $400. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A Larceny report was taken at the Monroe Middle School when three juvenile females stole a school vacuum cleaner valued at $535 from the school hallway. The School Resource Officer reviewed the security tapes and was able to identify the girls involved and recover the vacuum. A repor5t was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on N 2nd E when an unknown vehicle backed into a parked gold Dodge Neon owned by Tate Davis. Damage to the Davis car was estimated at over $1000. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash on Bridger Drive at W Teton Blvd when a vehicle driven by a 17 year male struck a car driven by a 16 year old female. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. Driver #1 was cited for Failure to Yield.

A report of Interference with Custody was taken on Iowa Circle when a mother refused to let her children go with their father for the weekend as required by their divorce decree. A copy of the report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A juvenile problem was reported on Knotty Pine Street.

A report of a violation of a Family Protection Order was taken on Shoshone Ave.

A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued at 420 Wilkes Drive when the victim reported loud music coming from a parked vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect was contacted and warned of warned of the complaint.

A Cruelty to Animals report was investigated at the municipal horse corrals; the custodian of the horses was contacted and advised of the complaint. Animal Control Officers are checking to make sure the horses are provided for and watered and fed.

A bicycle was found on Jefferson Street. A bicycle was found on W Teton Blvd. A bicycle was found at the GRHS.

A report of a violation of a Family Violence Protection Order was taken on Bridger Drive.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat bite on Ironwood Street.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on with an 88 year female who fell on Upland Way on an icy sidewalk and struck her head.

Officers responded to the Hampton Inn parking lot with a problem with wild horses on the premises; officers were able to herd the horses out of the parking lot and up further into the canyon.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Evers Street with a 58 year old male having trouble breathing.
