Christopher Carmine, age 23, of Green River, was cited for Driving While Suspended and expired Registration on 12/05/11 at 21:06 hours on Bridger Drive. Carmine was stopped for the registration violation and a driver’s license check showed he was suspended.
A report of an attempted Fraud was investigated when a local business person advised she received a payment by money order for a product she sells. The money order was for more than the amount that was purchased. The purchaser told the business person she could keep $50 over the amount purchased for her trouble and to send the remainder back to the purchaser. The business person realized this is a scam and notified the police. The ISP was traced to a jurisdiction within the USA and report was forwarded to the police in that locale. The GRPD would like to remind our citizens that there are new scams originating everyday so stay vigilant and report anything you suspect as a scam.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing drug tests on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted Department of Family Services personnel with a welfare check on Monroe Ave.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel at the Convalescence Center with a 66 year old female having difficulty breathing.
Officers responded to a Prowler complaint on N 5th W; subject was contacted and complaint was unfounded.
A juvenile problem was reported on Knotty Pine Street.
Officers assisted GRFD personnel with a fire alarm on W Flaming Gorge Way; the alarm was unfounded.
