A 17 year old male was arrested for Use of Marijuana on 1/4/12 at 10:42 on Commerce Way.

Jason K Merrifield, age 26, of Green River, was arrested on 1/5/12 at 02:12 hours on E Teton Blvd for Driving While Intoxicated. Merrifield was stopped for a lane use violation and subsequent investigation determined he was intoxicated. Merrifield was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration at over double the legal limit.

A Domestic Battery report was investigated on Trail Drive when a husband and wife got into a verbal dispute that turned physical. Officers documented the injuries and the report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Officers investigated a crash on Pioneer Blvd at Wilderness Trail when a car driven by Maria Bruder struck a vehicle driven by Kathleen Edwards. Damage to the Bruder car was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Edwards vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a crash at the Smith’s Store parking lot when a car driven by Jacqueline Diede struck a parked pickup truck owned by Michelle Palmer. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported.

A Fraud report was taken on Uinta Drive when a clerk at a local loan establishment was defrauded by a male posing a Western Union representative over the telephone. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a drug test on Commerce Drive.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Trona Drive with a 68 year old female having stomach pains.
