A report of Child Neglect was investigated on N 1st E when the reporting party advised a 4 year old male walked into the business looking for his mother. Subsequent investigation showed a mother left three children unattended in her vehicle for approximately 15 minutes. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers assisted the Department of Family Services’ personnel with a report of Child Abuse on Trona Drive.
A report of Grand Larceny was reported on E 3rd S when the victim advised someone entered her residence and stole a watch and rings valued at more than $1000. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Monroe Ave when two students placed a padlock on a sprinkler head in the boy’s locker room and when they tried to remove the lock they broke the sprinkler head causing the locker room to flood.
Officers investigated a deer versus car crash on Upland Way when a car driven by Terrlyn Merchant struck a deer. Damage to the Merchant car was estimated at over $2000.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing drug tests on Commercial Way.
