Thomas Duran, age 21, of Green River was arrested on 2/24/12 at 12:00 hours on Bridger Drive on a warrant out of Circuit Court. Officers contacted Duran at an address on Bridger Drive and a warrants check confirmed Duran had an active arrest warrant for Failure to Pay fines on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Joshua A Scheneman, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 2/25/12 at 00:17 hours on S 3rd E for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended and Hit and Run. Officers were dispatched to a traffic crash on S 3rd E and the victim advised he heard a loud crash and his vehicle was struck by another vehicle and the driver left the scene. Scheneman was later located and admitted to being the driver of the suspect vehicle. Officers observed Scheneman was very intoxicated and he was transported to Memorial Hospital by ambulance as a precaution and upon release he was taken to jail.
Kelly R Martinez, age 24, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 2/24/12 at 16:20 hours on Flaming Gorge Way at Center Street. Officers stopped Martinez for the driver’s license violation; the officer was aware that Martinez’ license was suspended and knew Martinez from prior police contacts.
Lacey M Skeans, age 31, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 2/24/12 at 15:40 hours on Alabama Drive. The officer knew Skeans from prior police contacts and he was also aware her driver’s license was suspended.
Regina Lee, age 42, of Green River was arrested for Driving While Suspended and Passing on the Right on 2/24/12 at 12:03 hours on North Riverbend Drive and E Teton Blvd. Lee was stopped for the lane use violation and a driver’s license check showed her license to be suspended. Lee was taken into custody and transported to jail.
A 17 year old male was cited for Use of Tobacco on 2/23/12 at 20:00 hours at the GRHS.
Braxton D Brown, age 18, of Rock Springs was cited for Underage Consumption on 2/23/12 at 21:30 hours at the GRHS. Brown was contacted by an officer while at a basketball game and he admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage. Brown was cited and released to a sober driver.
Brooke A Quintana, age 32, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended on 2/25/12 at 12:06 hours on Upland Way and Hitching Post Drive. Quintana was stopped for a Cell Phone violation and a driver’s license check showed her license to be suspended.
Officers investigated a report of a Domestic Battery on S Wagonwheel Drive when the victim reported she was strangled by her boyfriend and roommate. The victim was treated by ambulance personnel and refused transport to the hospital. There were no physical signs of an altercation. The male half left the residence for the night. Alcohol was involved and the report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a report of an Aggravated Domestic Battery on Monroe Ave when the victim, who is five months pregnant, stated she was struck by her boyfriend and roommate. Officers did not observe and signs of injury on the victim and she refused medical treatment. The male half left the residence for the night and officers photographed the scene. Alcohol was consumed by both parties and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on S 3rd E when a car driven by Joshua Scheneman struck a parked car owned by William Hart. Damage to the Scheneman car was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Hart car. Scheneman left the scene on foot and was later located by police and arrested for DWUI.
Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on W 2nd S and S 4th W when a car driven by Joshua Scheneman struck a traffic sign and left the scene of the crash. Debris from the Scheneman car was found at the scene and he was later arrested for DWUI in regards to a second hit and run crash.
Officers investigated a crash at the GRHS parking lot when a 17 year old female backed into a parked car owned by Michelle Harris of Green River. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported. The 17 year old female was cited for Inattentive Driving.
A report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus was taken on Hitching Post Drive. The suspect was contacted and stated the stop sign and lights were not activated when she passed the school bus. A report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.

A suspect was contacted and she admitted to passing the school bus. A report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.
A welfare check was initiated on Monroe Ave when a girlfriend reported her boyfriend told her he was going to kill himself after an argument. The boyfriend was located and he admitted to making the statement but thought better of it after he calmed down.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Wilson Street for loud music on 2/24/12 at 22:56 hours. A suspect was contacted and warned.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on Monroe Ave. Officers contacted the subjects involved and there were no signs of a physical altercation and no alcohol was involved.

A trac phone was found in the parking lot across from the Brewery on 2/25/12.
Accidental damage was reported on Monroe Ave when a dumpster was blown into a vehicle owned by Trinity Morrison causing $50 in damages to the car.
Accidental damage was reported on Uinta Drive when a shopping cart was blown into a car owned by Christine Siverston causing damage estimated at $250.
A report of Attempted Larceny was on Nolan Street when someone tried to break into the coin box at Byrd’s Car Wash.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents on Commerce Way by witnessing drug tests.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on E 2nd N with a female who fell and struck her head on the sidewalk; complaining of dizziness and are shaking.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a cat in a trap on Apache Street.
Officers responded to a request for a subject removal from the Super 8 Motel.
