Dustin R Schied, age 34, of Green River, was cited for Driving While Suspended on 2/27/12 at 07:55 hours on Monroe Ave. Schied was stopped for speeding and a driver’s license check showed his license to be suspended.
Officers investigated a crash on E 2nd S when a pickup truck driven by Jaime Cano-Mejia struck the rear of a car driven by Jeffrey Miller. Damage to the Miller car was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Cano-Mejia truck. Miller complained of some back pain and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene. Cano-Mejia was cited for Inattentive Driving and No Driver’s License.
Officers investigated a report of copper wire theft on W Flaming Gorge Way then the victim advised that 100’ of welding leads were stolen from a truck parked in his back yard. The victim estimated the loss at $800. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers took a Harassment report on Monroe Ave when the victim advised she has been receiving harassing phone calls from her sister.
Officers investigated a report of Anonymous Lewd Telephone Calls on Arapahoe Circle when the victim advised she received over 20 calls from a restricted phone number originating in Lander Wyoming. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus was taken on E Teton Blvd when a vehicle passed the bus when the stop sign was displayed and the emergency lights were activated. The vehicle was described as a red Jeep with California registration plates. A suspect has not been developed at this time.
An Attempted Fraud report was taken on Daniel Boone Drive when the victim advised he received a phone call from a male requesting personnel credit information. The reporting party realized it was a scam and hung up the phone.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Cumorah Way with a 16 year old male who overdosed on cold medication.
A Vicious Animal report was taken on Ridge Crossing when a red Pit Bull dog became aggressive to a female who was walking her dog. The dogs owner was contacted and a report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.
Officers were called to a subject removal from OT Sports Bar on Railroad Street.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on N Wagonwheel Drive.
