Francisco J Carrasquel, age 26, of Rock Springs was arrested on 3/1/12 at 13:14 hours on E 2nd N on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of No Insurance. Carrasquel came into the Police Department for a VIN check and a records check showed he had an active arrest warrant.
Officers investigated a crash at the Maverick Store parking lot when a car driven by Maria Bueno Aguayo struck a car driven by Michael Boling. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and there were no injuries reported. Bueno Aguayo was cited for a drivers license violation.
A report of an attempted Fraud was taken on S 5th W when the victim advised she received a check which was part of a Mystery Shopper scam. The victim realized it was a scam and reported the incident to the police.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Riverview Drive with a 34 year old male that had cut his arm.
Officers issued a Trespass warning on Mountain View Drive at the request of the home owner.
Officers investigated a report of a car passing a stop sign at a school crossing and a 16 year old female was developed as a suspect. A report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.
An abandoned vehicle was tagged on private property on Bridger Drive at the request of the property owner.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents on Commerce Way by witnessing drug test administered to clients.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Crossbow Drive with a 62 year old female having chest pains and difficulty breathing.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Arizona Street with a 3 year old male having seizures.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued for loud music on Shoshone Ave.
