Jesse L Elwood, age 32, of Green River was arrested on 3/3/12 at 21:38 hours on Monroe Ave for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to the location of Uinta Drive and Monroe Ave regarding an individual darting in and out of traffic. Elwood was contact and determined to be intoxicated. Elwood was taken into custody and transported to jail.
George E Maestas, age 57, of Green River was arrested on 3/4/12 at 22:11 hours on Shoshone Ave on a warrant out of Municipal Court for Public Intoxication. Maestas was contacted at his residence on Shoshone Ave, informed of the warrant and taken into custody without incident.
Mercedes Lee Wadsworth, age 19 of Rock Springs was cited for Driving While Suspended on 3/3/12 at 12:44 hours on S 3rd E. Wadsworth was stopped for a stop sign violation and a driver’s license check showed her license to be suspended.
Chealsie Case, age 26, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance on 3/2/12 at 21:15 hours on W Railroad Street. Case was stopped for a registration violation and a driver’s license check showed her license was suspended and she had no proof of insurance at the time of the stop.
A residential burglary was reported on Colorado Drive when the victim advised a small safe and its contents were taken from her residence. The victim estimated her loss at over $1600. The incident is under investigation at this time.
A Larceny report was taken on Nolan Street when the victim reported he left his cell phone on the bar while he left for a few minutes and when he returned his cell phone was missing. The victim estimated his loss at over $200.
Timothy Buggy reported a Hit and Run crash when his maroon Nissan Altima received damage to the rear of the passenger door. Buggy was not sure where the incident occurred but thought it might have occurred at the Real Theatre parking lot. Damage was estimated at under $1000. Abraham Vargas, of Burley Idaho reported the semi tractor he was driving on I 80 eastbound at mile marker 88 was struck by a tow truck which continued eastbound and did not stop after the crash. Vargas reported he believed the registration on the tow truck was from Wyoming possibly 1 county plate. Damage to the Peterbuilt tractor was estimated at over $1000.
