Teresa L Brown, age 50, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance on 3/9/12 at 02:11 hours on Monroe Ave. Brown was stopped for a headlight violation and a driver’s license check showed her license to be suspended and she had no proof of insurance.
A Larceny report was taken on Monroe Ave when the victim reported his silver and orange BMX style bike was taken from the bike rack at Lincoln Middle School. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A report of attempted Fraud was taken on Jensen Street when the potential victim advised she received a letter in the mail advising his wife was eligible for a $10,000 grant for which she did not apply. They researched the grant on the internet and realized it was a scam.
Officers investigated a report of students using illicit drugs at the FMC Park on 3/8/12 at 12:18 hours. Several students were questioned, evidence was gathered and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
Officers assisted UPRR personnel with a subject removal from railroad property on 3/08/12 at 04:14 hours. The transient train rider was issued a trespass warning at railroad personnel’s request.
