Antonio P Kelly, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 3/14/12 at -9:03 hours on Hitching Post Drive for Interference with a Police Officer. Kelly was contacted after he ran from police after officers observed him walking out into traffic becoming a hazard. When officers approached Kelly he began to run from police. Officers began to pursue Kelly on foot, caught him and placed him under arrest.
Abel E St Helen, age 32, of Green River was cited on 3/14/12 at 17:05 hours on Monroe Ave for Driving While Suspended. Officers stopped St Helen for an equipment violation and a driver’s license check showed his driving privileges were suspended.
Officers from the Green River Police Department attached to the Sweetwater County Bomb Squad responded to a report of a found hand grenade on Ash Street in Jamestown. The grenade was found to be made of plastic.
A report of an Attempted Fraud was taken on Washington Street when the victim advised he received an e-mail advising he had made a purchase from a local business for $3500 and he need to open an email account to view the bill. The victim realized it was a scam and deleted the email.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Uinta Drive with an 86 year old female suffering from slurred speech and burning in her left hand a feet.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a client’s drug test on Commerce Way.
Officers are investigating an unattended death of a 42 year old male on Driftwood Street.
