A Larceny report was taken on Yates Street when the victim advised her mail was stolen while she and husband were out of town. The victim told officers her neighbor informed he found some of her opened mail on his lawn. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a crash on at the Loaf and Jug parking lot when a vehicle driven by a 16 year old male backed into a car driven and owned by Jeanette Hatfield. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported. The 16 year old was cited for Inattentive Driving.
Accidental damage was reported on Monroe Street when the front wheel came off a GMC pickup truck driven by Larry D Oliver. Damage to the truck was not determined at the time of this report.
A report of Attempted Fraud was taken on Massachusetts Court when the victim advised he received a phone call from an elderly woman advising him he was a second place winner in the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes. The victim advised the caller he never entered the sweepstakes and she advised him he was automatically entered by way of his utility bills. The victim realized this was a scam and reported the incident to police.
Officers were dispatched to Jensen Street for a welfare check of a despondent woman. The woman returned home and was safe.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Mansface Street with a 47 year old female suffering from seizures.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel at the Green River Chamber of Commerce parking lot with a 76 year old male who was vomiting and sweating.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel at the Castle Rock Medical Center with a 47 year old male possibly suffering from dehydration.
