Cody Simpson, age 27, of Eden Wyoming, was arrested on 4/14/12 at 21:28 hours on W Railroad Street on a warrant out of Municipal Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Passing a School Bus. Simpson was stopped for a head light violation and a driver’s license check showed an active warrant for his arrest. Simpson was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.
Seth Lawson age 18 of Green River and Alex Quigley, age 18 also of Green River were arrested on 4/14/12 at 00:50 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way for Possession of Marijuana and Use of Marijuana. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on W 3rd N and subsequent investigation lead to the arrests of Lawson and Quigley.
Victor I Flores, age 30, of Rock Springs Wyoming was arrested on 4/13/12 at 15:22 hours on Commerce Way for Use of Marijuana. Officers were dispatched to the Probation and Parole office on Commerce Way to witness a drug test. Flores test came back positive for marijuana and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers investigated a report of Battery on Riverview Drive when the victim advised he was assaulted by a former friend. The victim did not elaborate to the officers the reason for the attack but his injuries were documented and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery and Reckless Endangering on 4/14/12 at 03:23 hours on Monroe Ave. The victim advised she and her boyfriend began to argue and it became physical. The victim further stated he boyfriend got his unloaded gun and threatened to take his own life. Both parties advised he never pointed the gun at the victim or threatened her with the gun. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A Larceny report was taken on Clark Street when a 16 year old female advised someone stole her prescription medication. The medication was later found in the family vehicle.
A report of Defrauding an Innkeeper was investigated on W Flaming Gorge Way when the victim advised a transient left without paying for a meal he ordered and ate. Officers searched the area for the suspect and were unable to locate him.
Officers investigated a report of a vehicle driving through an occupied crosswalk when a crossing guard was present holding a stop sign.
Officers investigated crash at the Green River Recreation Center parking lot when a parked vehicle owned by Jacqeline Dean rolled into another parked vehicle owned by Patricia Hastings. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.

A report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus was taken on Monroe Ave. A suspect was identified and a report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.
A juvenile problem was reported on Colorado Drive and is currently under investigation.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Monroe Ave when an anonymous party reported a vehicle revving its engine. The driver was contacted and warned.
Accidental damage was reported Jensen Street when a newspaper thrown by the paper carrier struck a wall covered with faux brick siding causing minor damage to the siding.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Hitching Post Drive when the suspect was driving a four wheeler on private property disturbing the property owner; the complainant wished the driver to be contacted and warned.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on Riverview Drive when parents were arguing with a 15 year old over her cell phone use. No sign of a physical altercation were seen by officers.
Officers responded to a disturbance call on W Flaming Gorge Way. The parties involved were gone upon the arrival of police.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on S 2nd E with a 33 year old male who fell and broke his leg.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel with a 19 year old male with a self inflicted gunshot wound. The incident occurred on White Mountain in the county and the Sheriff’s office took over the investigation.
