Officers were dispatched to an accident on the 2300 block of W. Teton Blvd. Timothy Chilcott 48 of Green River backed his 2010 Ford F-150 from his driveway and into a 2010 Dodge driven by James Renzleman 47 also of Green River. There was no damage to Chilcott’s vehicle, but damages to Renzleman’s vehicle was estimated at over $1000. The driver’s had exchanged insurance information and moved the vehicles prior to contacting the police department.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on W. Teton in reference to a trespassing complaint. A trespassing warning was issued.
Officers were dispatched to Washington Elementary School to a reported juvenile problem. The officer met with school officials and the juvenile’ parents to resolve the problem.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Expedition Academy to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers were unable to locate the dog once on scene.
Officers were dispatched to a vehicle collision in the parking lot of Smith’s Grocery Store. Judy Lisonbee, 67 of Green River backed her 1999 Mazda from a parking space near the front of a store and struck a parked 2003 Ford Explorer. Both vehicles sustained minor damage in the crash. There were no injuries.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Vermont Court to answer questions for a citizen.
Officers were dispatched to a two car crash on Bridger Drive near the entrance to Smith’s Grocery Store. Jonea Fuller, 23 of Green River was driving her 2010 Kia Forte east on Bridger Drive and was stopped, waiting for traffic to clear before completing her left turn into the grocery store parking lot when she was struck from behind by Kristin Sundberg, 27 of Green River who was driving her 1996 Ford Taurus. Sundberg was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for evaluation after she impacted her steering wheel. Damages to the two vehicles were estimated to be in excess of $1000.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Trona Drive to a possible fraud. The resident had received multiple phone calls from a subject with a foreign accent trying to sell the resident home computer services which the resident did not solicit. The resident did not give the caller any personal information and called the police department to report the incident.
Officers were dispatched to 350 Monroe to a juvenile problem.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Cedar Circle to a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Schultz to a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to Ace Hardware to a report of shoplifting. Two juveniles were detained by store staff members. The case was forwarded to the city prosecuting attorney.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on 400 block of Monroe to suspicious persons in a residence. The officers made contact with the persons and the report was unfounded as it was family members.
Officers assisted a citizen who came to the police department with questions.
Officers conducted a civil standby on Mansface Street.
