Thera Siler, age 32, of Green River was arrested on 4/22/12 at 09:30 hours on E Teton Blvd on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Suspended. Officers observed Siler as a passenger in vehicle on Bramwell Street. Officers knew Siler through prior contacts and were aware of an active arrest warrant for her. The officer confirmed the warrant through dispatch and Siler was contacted and taken into custody.
Matthew R Lowseth, age 23, of Green River was arrested on 4/22/12 at 02:07 hours on Bramwell Street for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended and Interference with a Police Officer. Lowseth was stopped for a headlight violation on his vehicle and Lowseth ran off on foot. Officers pursued and caught Lowseth at his residence. Lowseth was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test was administered and showed Lowseth blood alcohol concentration at over double the legal limit.
Michael D Maines, age 27, of Green River was arrested on 4/21/12 at 23:14 hours on E Teton for Driving While Suspended, Possession of Marijuana, and No Insurance. Maines was stopped for a speeding violation; Maines could not provide a driver’s license or proof of insurance. A driver’s license check showed Maines’ license to be suspended and during a search incident to arrest, the arresting officer found a marijuana pipe in Maines’ pants pocket. Maines then informed the officer of an additional amount of marijuana in the car.
A 17 year old male was cited for Underage Consumption on 4/21/12 at 00:35 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way. The juvenile was a passenger in a car stopped as a suspicious vehicle. The juvenile was cited and transported home by the officer.
Stormie Prime, age 20, of Green River was cited on 4/22/12 at 02:56 hours on Monroe Ave for Underage Consumption. Officers observed Prime in the area of 490 Monroe Ave and she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. When contacted officers could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and a breath test confirmed her as being under the influence.
Officers responded to a report of a Disturbing the Peace on Cumorah Way when a third party reported the incident. Upon further investigation officers learned there had been a domestic disturbance and there was a report of a physical altercation. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers investigated a report of a Larceny on Jensen Street when the victim advised someone stole 100 feet of welding cable from his truck. The victim estimated his loss at over $250; anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of a Domestic Battery and Interference with an Emergency Telephone Call on 4/22/12 at 18:35 hours on Cumorah Way. The victim stated she was physically accosted by her husband. The suspect left the scene prior to police arriving. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A Larceny report was taken on Uinta Drive when the driver of a newer dark colored Ford pickup truck with 11 county plates pumped $76.61 in gas and left without paying. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A report of a Violation of a Protection Order was taken on 4/23/12 at 03:18 hours on W Flaming Gorge Way. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on E 4th S with a 75 year old female who was found unconscious and barely breathing. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Idaho Street with a 19 year old female suffering from depression. She was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A bicycle found on Hoover Drive was turned in to the Police department on 4/20/12.
A dog at large complaint was taken on Texas Way.
A Five Day Parking complaint was taken on Hitching Post Drive.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing drug test of clients on Commerce Way.
A Nuisance Animal complaint was taken on Michigan Street.
A Suspicious vehicle was reported on S 4th E; the reporting party thought it may be drug related. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
A Nuisance animal warning was issued on Arkansas Drive.
Officers investigated a report of a prowler on Midwest Drive; a broom had fallen in the residence and the report was unfounded.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Hitching Post Drive with an elderly male who is disoriented.
Officers assisted with the removal of a transient from a local business on E Railroad Street.
Officers responded to a report of a fight on E Flaming Gorge Way. The victim could not be located and the other combatant was located on E Railroad Street.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Wild Horse Canyon Drive with a report of a possible drug overdose. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on E 3rd S.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of 6 deer locked in the fence by the Fire Training Building. The fence was opened and the deer were released.
Animal Control officers assisted with a horse that was loose from a corral at the Municipal Corrals.
Officers assisted the Rock Springs PD with attempting to locate the owner of a found wallet.
A barking dog complaint was taken on E Teton Blvd.
