Michael J Pacheco, age 41, of Rock Springs Wyoming, was arrested on 4/25/12 at 00:08 hours on Astle Ave at Clark Street. Officers made traffic stop on a vehicle for a headlight violation. The driver was issued a warning and a warrants check on the passenger, Pacheco, showed an active arrest warrant out of Municipal Court for Trespass. The warrant was confirmed and Pacheco was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers investigated a report of Burglary on N 3rd W when the owner of a business advised someone had broken into his business and stole items. Evidence was collected at the scene and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers investigated a crash at the Family Dollar Store parking lot when a van driven by Rachel Braithwaite backed into a parked truck owned by Fastenal Gelco Corp. Damage to the Braithwaite van was estimated at over $1000 and no damage was reported to the Fastenal truck. No injuries were reported and Braithwaite was cited for Inattentive Driving.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing client’s drug test on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted Rock Spring PD officers with attempting to locate a stolen vehicle possibly in Green River.
Animal Control Officers responded to an animal problem on E 3rd S with four found kittens.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of an animal carcass on W Teton Blvd.
Officers assisted Sheriff Office Deputies with locating a vehicle on Wilkins Peak Rd.
