Joshua P Mace, age 28, of Green River was arrested on 5/6/12/at 00:55 hours on W Railroad Ave for Battery. Officers were dispatched to a fight on W Railroad Ave and upon arrival they spoke with the victim, a 22 year old male, who was bleeding from a cut above his eye. Subsequent investigation showed the victim was head butted by Mace which caused the victim’s injury. Mace was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers responded to reports of several hit and run crashes in the area of Jefferson Street at McKinley Street on 5/4/12 at 23:27 hours. Subsequent investigation showed Crystal D Rosalez was the driver of a vehicle which side swiped a parked car owned by Leo Montoya causing an estimated $10,000 in damage to the Montoya car. Rosalez continued north on Evers Street and then right onto McKinley Street. The car Rosalez was driving then drove through a chain link fence at 520 McKinley Street back onto the roadway and then struck a parked passenger car owned by Leslie Greene. Damage to the Greene car was estimated at over $8000. Rosalez then drove to the area of 700 Shultz Street #1 where the car she was driving stalled out. Rosalez and her passenger, the owner of the car she was driving, Hayden Gardner, were located at a residence on Schultz Street. Rosalez was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Gardner was arrested for Interference with a Police Officer.
Jeff Stout, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 5/6/12 at 22:29 hours on Windriver Drive. Officers were dispatched to the above address regarding a verbal domestic dispute. Stout was contacted and a records check showed the outstanding arrest warrant for Stout out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Driving While Suspended and No Insurance.
James P Clark, age 20, of Green River was arrested on 5/6/12 at 02:14 hours on Bridger Drive on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to appear on the original charge of No Insurance. An officer observed Clark Driving on Bridger Drive and was aware of the arrest warrant for Clark. Clark was stopped and taken into custody.
Lee W Vanle, age 27, of Rock Springs was arrested on 5/5/12 at 02:15 hours on Uinta Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Vanle was stopped for a lane use violation and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Vanle was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test showed his blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.
Lafayette Mackey, age 42, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance on 5/4/12 at 12:40 hours on E flaming Gorge Way. Mackey was stopped for speeding and a driver’s license check showed his license suspended. He could show proof of insurance at the time of the stop.
A Burglary report was taken on W 2nd N when the victim reported two guitars were taken from his residence. The victim stated his door was unlocked at the time of the theft.
A Larceny report was taken on Hitching Post Drive when the victim report she had dropped her wallet in the GRHS parking lot and someone removed $110 from her wallet.
A Threat report was taken on Wilkes Drive when the victim advised she has broken up with her boyfriend and he has made threats against her.
An attempted fraud report was taken on Bridger Drive when a male called a local business claiming to be from Western Union and attempted to get the clerk to send money to him as a test for the system.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Wilkes Drive when officers were dispatched to the area regarding loud music. The source of the music was located and the resident was warned of the complaint.
Officers investigated a crash on Uinta Drive at E 4th S when a jeep driven by Keila Hoffman failed to yield and turned in front of a vehicle driven by Tamara Shoup. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each and no injuries were reported. Hoffman was cited for Inattentive Driving.

A verbal domestic dispute was reported on E 4th S; no physical altercation was reported and the subjects were separated for the night.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on 5/5/12 at 0822 hours on Cumorah Way with a 15 year old male who was not breathing. CPR was started and the youth was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of his death.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on Shoshone Ave; no signs of a physical altercation were observed.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported on W 3nd N; no physical altercation was reported.
Officers responded to report of a verbal domestic dispute on Cumorah Way; a third party was reported to be injured accidently and she wished not to seek charges.
An Idaho license plate owned by Kirt Clark was found at the Rock Mountain Car Wash.
