Officers investigated a Fraud report on Uinta Drive when a doctor at Castle Rock Medical Center reported a suspect attempted to have a prescription refilled fraudulently. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

A report of an Attempted Fraud was taken on S Riverbend Drive when the victim advised she was contacted by phone by a male who alleged he was from the US Treasury informing her she was awarded 1.8 million dollars. The caller advised her she needed to send $420 to collect her award. The victim realized the call was a fraud and reported the incident to police. No monetary loss occurred. The Green River Police Department would like to remind our citizens there are many types of scams out asking for money or personal information; please report any incidents you feel may be a fraud to the police.
