Officers investigated a Fraud report on Uinta Drive when a doctor at Castle Rock Medical Center reported a suspect attempted to have a prescription refilled fraudulently. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A Trespass warning was issued at the request of the victim for her residence on Cumorah Way.
Officers issued a trespass warning to a male subject at the request of School District # 2 after he left an unwanted gift for a school teacher at Jackson School.
A report of an Attempted Fraud was taken on S Riverbend Drive when the victim advised she was contacted by phone by a male who alleged he was from the US Treasury informing her she was awarded 1.8 million dollars. The caller advised her she needed to send $420 to collect her award. The victim realized the call was a fraud and reported the incident to police. No monetary loss occurred. The Green River Police Department would like to remind our citizens there are many types of scams out asking for money or personal information; please report any incidents you feel may be a fraud to the police.
A runaway report was taken Castle Rock Court when a parent advised his 16 year old son left his home and failed to return.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel at the Municipal Rodeo Arena with a 56 year old female who was thrown from a horse.
Officers responded to a Dog at Large complaint on Riverview Drive; a German Shephard type dog was impounded and later released to the owner.
Officer stopped a suspicious vehicle in Stratton Myer Park after hours; the occupants were questioned and released.
Officers assisted the Ogden Police Department with locating and recovering a stolen gun from their jurisdiction.
Officers investigated a report of an intoxicated subject on Uinta Drive; the adult male was contacted and he continued to walk home.
