Kyle W Wolfley, age 41, of Green River was arrested on 5/28/12 at 06:30 pm on Nolan Street for Driving While Intoxicated. Officers responded to Byrd’s Car Wash regarding an individual passed out behind the wheel of a truck parked in a wash bay at Byrd’s Car Wash. The driver, later identified as Wolfley was determined to be intoxicated, was taken into custody and transported to jail and a breath test confirmed he was intoxicated.

Megan M Brehm, age 21, of Green River was arrested on 5/27/12 at 02:08 hours on Andrews Street. Brehm was stopped for a lane use violation and subsequent investigation showed she was intoxicated at the time of the stop. Brehm was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test confirmed she was legally too intoxicated to drive.

Andrea Wright, age 31, of Rock Springs Wyoming was arrested on 5/25/12 at 04:54 pm on E 2nd N on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Pay Fines on the original charge of Driving While Suspended.

William Wiley, age 24, of Green River was cited for Driving While Suspended and No Insurance on 5/28/12 at 10:49 am on Bridger Drive. Wiley was stopped for a registration violation and a driver’s license check showed his license to be suspended.

Michael S Kelley, age 41, of Rock Springs Wyoming was arrested on 5/26/12 at 02:22 am on E Flaming Gorge Way for Driving While Intoxicated. Kelley was stopped for a lane use violation and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated at the time of the stop. Kelley was taken into custody and transported to jail where a breath test confirmed Kelly was intoxicated.

Britania Breeze, age 31, of Rock Springs Wyoming was arrested on 5/26/12 at 1235am on Monroe Street for Driving While Suspended. Breeze was stopped for a headlight violation and a driver’s license check showed her license to be suspended. Breeze was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a report of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses when the victim advised he purchased four tires from a local business for $380 and has since learned the owner went out of business and left the area. The victim stated he never received the tires he purchased and is out the money. The investigation is ongoing in this case.

Officers investigated a report of Identity Theft on E Flaming Gorge Way when the victim advised she learned someone has filed a tax return in her name. The victim stated she was applying for a student loan when she learned from the IRS about the fraudulent tax return and the IRS required her to have a police report filed.

A report of Criminal Entry was taken on Daniel Boone Drive when the victim advised someone entered his trailer and took the keys to his brothers’ truck and when he returned the truck was gone from his residence. A suspect was contacted and she admitted to entering the victim’s residence. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Kenyon Baker reported a Hit and Run crash on New Hampshire Street when an unknown vehicle side swiped his blue 1998 Dodge pickup truck causing over $1000 in damages. Baker advised he believes the damage occurred between midnight and 10:00 am on 5/27/12. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a crash at the Hampton Inn parking lot when a pickup truck driven by Scott Kyser backed into a parked car owned by Avis Rent a Car. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported.

A 17 year old female and her 15 year old sister were reported as runaways on 5/28/12 at 10:58 hours on Riverview Drive. The girls information was entered into a nationwide search engine for law enforcement and the will be held for the parent when located.

A welfare check was initiated on Cumorah Way when a friend was concerned that a juvenile was texting her and she felt he was going to harm himself. The juvenile and his guardian were contacted and the juvenile was fine.

A welfare check was initiated on Schultz Street when a friend reported a female was cutting herself. The victim was contacted and she went by private vehicle to Memorial Hospital for an evaluation and treatment.

A welfare check was initiated on Idaho Street when a friend advised a male was depressed over a pending divorce and was threatening to harm himself. The male was contacted and was found to fine and not a threat to himself.

Officers investigated a report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus on E 2nd N. The complainant and suspect were contacted and a report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.

Twelve kittens were caught in a trap and turned in to Animal Control Officers on 5/25/12.

A wallet belonging to Alycia R Frost was found on W Flaming Gorge Way at Hillcrest Street on 5/26/12.

A suspicious vehicle was report on Logan Street: the car was gone prior to police arriving.

A dog at large complaint was taken on W 2nd N; the dog’s owner was contacted and warned.

A report of a found hand was investigated on Riverview Drive; it turned out to be a skinned bear paw and not a human hand.

A five day parking complaint was taken on Riverview Drive; the vehicle was tagged.

An animal carcass was found in Centennial Park and it appeared to be killed by another animal; the carcass was removed by Animal Control Officers.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Trail Drive with a 79 year old male suffering from abdominal pains.

A barking dog complaint was taken on South Carolina Street; the owner was contacted and the dog was placed inside the residence.

Two “pit bull” type dogs were found tied to a pole on Hitching Post Drive and impounded and taken to the Animal Shelter.

A small dog was located on N 7th W and returned to the owner.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel with a 38 year old suffering from stomach pains.

A Mastiff type dog was impounded on Kentucky Street.

A complaint of Illegal Dumping was investigated on Hitching Post Drive at Anvil Drive; the suspect was located and warned.

A brown Poodle type dog was impounded on Anvil Drive.

A small black Poodle was impounded on Iowa Street.

Officers located the remains of a GRHS bon fire smoldering; the Fire Department was notified and extinguished the ashes.

A Beagle type dog was found on Astle and Hoover Streets and taken to the Animal Shelter.
