Officers investigated a report of a fire behind the Smith Store on 6/12/12. Four juveniles were identified as suspects in starting the fire. The GRFD responded and extinguished the fire. Damage was estimated at over $200 and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Officers investigated a report of Shoplifting on Uinta Drive. A suspect has been identified and the case is ongoing at this time.

A Larceny report was taken at the Oak Tree Inn when the victim advised some stole his blue and silver soft sided lunch box containing his wallet from the outside of the lobby area. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a report of a runway when a parent advised her 14 year old daughter failed to show up for softball practice. The parent advised she was in touch with her daughter by phone earlier but now she would not return call or text messages. The juvenile was later located and placed in the youth home at the parent’s request and the approval of the County Attorney’s office.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Bridger Drive; the white pickup truck was gone when police arrived.

A barking dog complaint was taken on South Dakota Street; the dog’s owner could not be contacted at the time and a note was left at the residence. Animal Control was advised of the complaint.

An officer issued a Curfew warning on Andrews Street at Clark Street to a juvenile who was returning home.

An officer found a dog at large on E Teton Blvd; when the office approached the dog, it returned to its yard and was secured.

A disturbing the peace warning was issued on Arkansas Drive when victim reported load music coming from a van parked at a residence. The van’s owner was contacted and warned.

Three juveniles were found walking on Indian Hills Drive after curfew; they were warned and they returned home.

Officer responded to a call on Church View Drive when the reporting party advised she could not turn off her oven.

Officers responded to a complaint of a barking dog on S Wagonwheel Drive; the dog’s owner could not be located and the dog was impounded.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male walking down Astle Ave; officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a neighbor dispute on Virginia Drive.

Officers responded to a third party report of a Domestic Dispute on Cumorah Way. The female half was gone for the evening and there was no report of a physical altercation.

Officers investigated a report of a Domestic Dispute on Wilkes Drive; it was verbal and no physical altercation occurred.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a client’s drug test on Commerce Way.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel with a female suffering from pneumonia and having difficulty breathing.

Animal Control Officers impounded a red Husky type dog found at large on Wyoming Drive.

Officers conducted ten Tobacco Compliance checks to various businesses in Green River and none sold to the juvenile assisting the police.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on Ironwood Street; the cat was impounded.

Officers responded to a business on Bridger Drive regarding a subject driving into a flower pot; the reporting party advised the driver may be intoxicated. The driver was contacted and was not intoxicated and the store did not wish to pursue the matter further.

Officers responded to a report of a rifle in the grass on Riverview Drive; the gun is a toy rifle left by a child.
