Jason Kirby, age 34, of Green River was arrested on 6/26/12 at 10:36 am on Riverview Drive for Strangulation of a Household Member, Child Abuse and Battery. Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery 6/25/12 at 9:00 pm and Kirby left the scene prior to the police arriving. Based on the information gathered from the original investigation officers arrested Kirby and transported him to jail.
Johnny C Shafe, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 6/27/12 at 05:20 am on Monroe Ave for Disturbing the Peace. Officers were called to the same apartment earlier that morning at 02:06 am for a noise complaint. Shafe became uncooperative when told he was going to be cited and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officer took a report of a crash on E Flaming Gorge Way in front of the Book and Bean Store when the Andria Grandpre advised someone struck her parked car and left a note with his name and number. Officers contacted Foster Harris, the author of the note, and he advised he struck Grandpre’s Subaru with his Kawasaki UTV. Dmage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a report of a Burglary on E 4th N when the victim advised someone entered her residence and stole a prescription bottle containing her prescription medication. Nothing else in the residence was disturbed and there was no evidence of forced entry. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers investigated a report of Domestic Battery on S 4th E when the victim advised her ex-boyfriend assaulted her after they argued about his visitation with their daughter. The boyfriend was later contacted and he advised he was assaulted by the victim. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Massachusetts Ct and Colorado Drive to remove animal carcasses from those locations.
Officers responded to a parking complaint on Bridger Drive; the violator was contacted and told to move his car and he complied.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on Singletree Drive.
Officers were dispatched to a Barking Dog complaint on E Teton Blvd. Five dogs was in a yard at a residence and no contact was made with the owner. Animal Control Officers will be notified for follow up.
Officers assisted Fire Department personnel on E Teton Blvd with traffic control for a stove fire in an apartment.
Officers were dispatched to report of a suspicious vehicle at Truman School; the vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Bramwell Street with a male subject who was having problems breathing.
Officers responded to a request for a subject removal from a local bar; the subject was contacted and taken to a motel where he was staying.
