Officers investigated a report of a Grand Larceny on Jensen Street when the victim advised his white 2000 Chevrolet Suburban was stolen from the side of his parent’s home. Witnesses advised the last time they noticed the vehicle was 6/28/12. A person of interest has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers investigated a crash on N 6th W when a city of Green River garbage truck struck a parked vehicle owned by Lindsay Fiedler. Damage to the Fiedler vehicle was estimated at under $1000 and no damage was reported to the city’s truck. No injuries were reported.

Officers investigated a crash at the Star Twin Theatre parking lot when GMC Jimmy driven by a 16 year old male backed into a parked pickup truck owned by Sandstone. Damage to the Jimmy was estimated at under $1000 and over $1000 to the Sandstone pickup truck. No injuries were reported.

Officers took a report of Malicious Mischief at the Pioneer Park office when the owners of several camp trailers and two boats reported damages to their property parked in the RV parking lot. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

A report of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses was taken on E 2nd N when the victim advised he ordered and paid for an ATV from a local business in May and has not received the ATV and learned the business is no longer in operation. Numerous reports regarding the practices of this business have been forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

Officers investigated a report of an Auto Burglary on Monroe Ave when the victim reported someone entered he unlocked vehicle and stole her prescription medication from the vehicles console.

Rebecca Jones reported that her white Ford Fusion had been hit by an unknown vehicle at an unknown location in Green River. Damage to the Jones’ car was estimated at under $1000.

Officers took a report of Malicious Mischief on Fawn Circle when the victim reported someone had “egged” his company truck.

Officers investigated a report of a Larceny that occurred on N 4th W when the victim advised someone stole a hub cap from his 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche valued at $80.

Officers initiated a welfare check on S 4th W when the sister of a 24 year old male reported her brother as suicidal. The victim was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

Officers took a parking complaint on Riverview Drive; the owner was contacted and he agreed to move the vehicle.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a cat in a trap on W Railroad Street.

Officers assisted a mother of an 18 month child who accidently locked herself in the family car. Officers were able to unlock the car and an ambulance was called to the scene to check the health of the child.

Officers were dispatched to Butte Street regarding a missing 2 year old; the child was located in the residence.

Officers assisted Rock Springs Police with trying to locate a vehicle involved in a Hit and Run crash that occurred in Rock Springs. The residence was checked and the suspect vehicle was not located.

Officers assisted a motorist whose vehicle was blocking traffic with a flat tire on Adams Street at Wilson Street. A tow truck was contacted at the driver’s request.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a dog at large complaint on Shoshone Street: the owner was located and warned.

Officers were dispatched to Wilkes Drive for a welfare check on a 28 month old child who had fallen off a bed and was injured; the child was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.

Officers responded to UPRR property for a trespass warning for a male subject; the subject was located and given the warning.

Officers responded to a report of a barking dog on South Dakota Street; the owner was contacted and warned.
