Silverio Rosalez, age 52, of Green River, was arrested on 7/11/12 at 01:32 am on Schultz Street on a warrant out of Fremont County for a probation violation on the original charge of Driving While Intoxicated. Rosalez was contacted at his residence after officer became aware of the warrant and he was taken into custody without incident and transported to jail.
Salvador Perez Martinez, age 24, of Green River was arrested on 7/10/12 at 2:05 pm on Wilkes Drive for Hit and Run Unattended Vehicle, No Driver’s License and No Insurance. Officer investigated a report of a Hit and Run crash at the Wilkes Apartments parking lot and subsequent investigation showed Martinez backed into a parked car owned by Amanda Stout. Damage to both cars was estimated at under $1000 and no injuries were reported.
A report of a Violation of a Protection Order was taken on Monroe Ave when the victim advised her ex-boyfriend has been calling her and sending her text messages in violation of the court order. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A report of Breach of Peace was taken on Logan Street when the victim advised she is receiving threatening text messages from two other teenage girls. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.
A report of an Attempted Fraud ws taken on Uinta Drive when the manager of a local restaurant advised she received a call from a male who identified himself as only Steve and was using a relay service because he was deaf and blind. Steve wanted to place a large order of food for a future time and was going to pay by credit card. Steve was vague and would not give the manager any information as to his location. The manager contacted the relay service and they advised the call was fraudulent. No loss was reported.
Officer investigated a crash on W Teton Blvd when a pickup truck driven by Matthew doctor backed into a parked car owned by Josh Bell. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a report of a Hit and Run crash on Cumorah Way when witnesses advised a red Honda car crashed into the rear of a parked car owned by Jesus Magana. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at over $1000 each. Witnesses stated that a male and female from the red Honda left on foot right after the crash. The owner of the Honda reported the car stolen just after the crash and was not available to be questioned by police. The investigation is ongoing.
