Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Flaming Gorge to a report of an extremely young kitten found at the back of the resident’s house. The kitten was impounded.

Officers investigated a report of a malicious mischief that occurred at the Sweetwater County Court House parking lot on W. Flaming Gorge. An employee’s car received a scratch that appeared to have been intentionally inflicted upon the car. Officers and court house security officers of the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office are reviewing security camera footage to find the suspect.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a residence on the 600 block of Windriver Drive to a report of a dog in distress. Animal Control Officers found a dog tangled up with a trampoline. The Animal Control Officers were able to awaken the residents and get the dog untangled.

Officers were dispatched to the office of Wyoming Department of Probation and Parole on Commerce Drive to administer a drug test to a probationer.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on N. 3 W. to a 911 hang up call. The call was made accidentally.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on the 700 block of Uinta to a report of a 43 year old female having a possible seizure.

Officers investigated a single vehicle accident at S. 6 W. and W. Railroad. Michele Flaten, 45 years old of Green River reported she was negotiating a U turn in the intersection when her sandal caught under the gas pedal of her 2009 Buick Lucerne during the turn and caused Flaten to drive up over the curb and strike a sign post. Damages were limited to sign post and the front bumper of Flaten’s car. Damages were estimated to be less than $1000.

Officers were dispatched to the area under the overpass on E. Flaming Gorge to a report of a transient trespassing on Union Pacific Railroad property. Officers found the subject and issued a trespass warning to him.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on the 1700 block of Idaho. The report was referred to the county attorney’s office for review.

Officers responded to a residential burglar alarm at a residence on Sundance Dr. The alarm appeared to have malfunctioned.

Levi Oyler, 32 years old of Rock Springs was arrested for being Under the Influence of Methamphetamines at the Wyoming Department of Probation and Parole after he tested positive for Methamphetamines. Oyler was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention
Center without incident and booked into jail. Oyler was cited into Sweetwater County Circuit Court in Green River with a mandatory court appearance date.

Officers investigated a suspicious occurrence at a residence on E. 3 N. A caller reported finding items left at a house she was cleaning up for the owner that appeared to have been left by a homeless person. No damage to the residence was noted.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel at a residence on the 1700 block of Idaho St. A 35 year old woman received an injury to an eye and was evaluated by ambulance personnel. The female later refused transport to the hospital.

Officers conducted a civil standby on N. 5 W.

Officers investigated a malicious mischief report at 155 Commerce Drive. Nathaniel Gomez reported finding scratches to the passenger side of his light blue 2007 GMC pickup while the pickup was parked in front of his residence. The police department requests any information residence might have in regards to this incident to call the police department at 872-0555.

Officers were dispatched to the area of S. Wagonwheel and Single Tree to a report of loud music. The officers found the source of the music was coming from a parked pickup. The owner was contacted and given a verbal warning.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on the 2200 block of W. Teton Blvd. to a report of juvenile females ringing doorbells and running from the area. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the juveniles.

A 17 year old male backed a1993 Chevrolet pickup from a parking space on Expedition Island and struck a parked 1990 Lincoln that was occupied by the owner, Troy Hall, 32 years old of Green River. No injuries were reported and minor damages occurred to both vehicles. The juvenile was issued a citation for Inattentive Driving.
