Ryan J Bybee, age 29, of Green River was arrested on 8/4/12 at 08:10 pm on Trail Drive on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Probation violations on the original charge of Failure to Maintain Liability Insurance. Officers responded to a report of a violation of a protection order when Bybee was contacted hiding in a garage on Trail Drive. The warrant was confirmed and Bybee was charged additionally with the protection order violation after it was established the order was in place.

Mario L Martinez, age 38, of Green River was arrested on 8/3/12 at 10:50 pm on Logan Street for Disturbing the Peace and Possession of Marijuana. Officers responded to a disturbance call and made contact with Martinez; Martinez continued to be loud and disturbing neighbors. Martinez was taken into custody and during a search incident to arrest a baggie of marijuana was found in his pants pocket.

Chad Dockter, age 27, of Green River was arrested on 8/4/12 at 6:20 pm on Bramwell Street at Barnhart Street on a warrant out of District Court for a Probation Violation on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. An officer recognized Dockter from previous contacts and was aware of the outstanding arrest warrant for Dockter. The officer made a traffic stop on the vehicle Dockter was driving and he was taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.

Matthew Toland, age 36, of Green River was arrested on 8/4/12 at 5:27 pm on Wilkes Drive on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana. Officers were aware of an arrest warrant for Toland and also aware he was staying on Wilkes Drive. Toland was contacted, taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a crash on Uinta Drive when a car driven by Jeramia Rael struck a truck driven by Aaron Taylor. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported. Rael was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers investigated a crash at the parking lot of 2290 Cumorah Way apartments when a pickup truck driven by Mitchell Mooney struck a parked vehicle owned by Camie Moore. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each and no injuries were reported. Mooney was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers investigated a Larceny on Uinta Drive when the owner of a black Ford F 150 pumped $45 in gas and left without paying. A registration plate number was obtained and a suspect was identified. The suspect has not been contacted at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers investigated a report of a Larceny on Uinta Drive when a male subject pumped $36.00 in fuel into a gray Accura sedan and left without paying. A registration plate was obtained and the owner was contacted. The owner advised she would return and pay for the gasoline and that it was a mistake it was not paid for in the first place.

Officers responded to a report of Malicious Mischief on Schultz Street when the owner of a blue Jeep reported the driver’s side window was shattered. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.

Officers investigated a report of Malicious Mischief on Monroe Street when the victim reported someone placed dog defecation on the handle of her pickup truck. No monetary loss was reported.

A Missing Persons report was taken on Trail Drive when the wife of a 74 year old male stated her husband went for a walk and had not returned. The male was later found in Rock Springs and returned home by a Deputy Sheriff.

Trespass warnings were issued on Crossbow Street and on Schultz Street at the request of the victim. The suspects were contacted and advised they understood the warning and would not contact the victim.

Officers issued a Disturbing the Peace warning to a subject on E Flaming Gorge Way at the request of the hotel manager.

Officers assisted Southwest Counseling with a welfare check on Bridger Drive; the subject was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on E 2nd N. The dog was located and returned to the owner.

Officers responded to a complaint of an abandoned vehicle on W 2nd N. The owner was contacted and he advised the vehicle would be moved.

Animal Control Officers investigated a report of a bat bite on W Flaming Gorge Way; the bat was sent to the State Lab for testing.

Animal Control Officers impounded two labs that were at large on N 7th W.

Officers issued a verbal warning on Fir Street to a subject with a loud vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of disturbance on E Flaming Gorge Way; husband and wife were engaged in a verbal dispute with no physical altercation.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents on Commerce Way by witnessing drug tests on clients.
