Matthew C Yoak, age 19, of Green River was arrested on 8/6/12 at 5:06 pm on Crossbow Drive for Reckless Endangering. Officers were dispatched to a report of a woman who had received a cut to her arm. Subsequent investigation showed that Yoak and the victim had been drinking and he cut her on the arm after she told him jokingly to cut her. The victim ws transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment to her wound.
Officers investigated an Aggravated Auto Burglary report on Doe Drive when the victim advised someone entered her husband’s pickup truck and stole two handguns from within. The theft was believed to have occurred between 5:00 pm on 8/6/12 and 04:50 am on 8/7/12. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of a Burglary on Wilkes Drive when the victim advised someone entered his apartment and stole a 42” TV, a DVD player and a VCR. The victim advised he was out of town since 7/20/12 and when he returned on 8/6/12 he discovered the theft. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers investigated a report of an Auto Burglary on Rhode Island Place when the victim advised someone entered his car and stole an Apple IPod from within. The victim stated the car was in his garage but the garage door was left opened when the theft occurred. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
Officers took a report of Unlawful Use of a Credit Card on Idaho Street when the victim advised his bank informed him that over $9500 had been withdrawn from his by debit card. All the transactions had taken place in either Nevada or California and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
Officers investigated a report of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses on Buckboard Lane when the victim advised he purchased tires and rims from an online business for the amount of $1160.00 and has not received his merchandise. The victim stated when he has tried to call the company back to inquire as to when he will receive his purchases, all the lines are busy.
A Larceny report was taken on Bridger Drive when a male driving a green pickup truck pumped $61.00 in gas and drove off without paying. The security video will be reviewed to try and determine a suspect or suspect vehicle in the case.
Officers investigated a report of Child Endangering when a 2 year old child was found crossing the street on E 2nd S unattended. The Department of Family Services was contacted after the child’s mother was located for follow up investigation.
Officers issued a Trespass warning on Lombard Street at the request of the property owner.
A Disturbing the Peace warning was issued on Bridger Drive when the victim advised excessive noise was coming from their neighbor’s apartment. The suspect was contacted and advised.
A Nuisance Property warning was issued on Hillcrest Way.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a raccoon in a garbage can on Colorado Circle; the animal was impounded.
